Hi - I wish to revise the rating that I gave to a tradesman that I used through this w/site. I feel I need to change the rating b/c his customer service and approach were appalling when we contacted him to correct a problem that occurred to his work. In particular, he was rude and aggressive towards my wife when he visited the house. He was also very arrogant regarding customers generally. Thank you, Mr Altaf Cassam

Looking for details on costs for a full rewire, electrian tells me he won't add or change any sockets unless I get a full rewire. There is also 2 small bathrooms ( old style ) and the fuse box needs replaced ( property is 80yrs old) so maybe all need grounding but I'm not sure.

The shower in my original bathroom is 9.5kw (supplied by 10mm cable) and I want another 9.5kw shower downstairs in a new single storey extension. My home is a standard sized 3 bed semi with a recently built single storey extension. When the extension was built, the electric meter was moved and the electrician had to run 12 metres of 25mm2 meter tails to get to the consumer unit and he finally signed it off as 100A maximum capacity. The cooker is a double oven type rated at a maximum of 6.8kw. Other than that I just have the usual low powered appliances (lights, gas central heating, computer, printer, phone, etc.) Question is can I run the 2 showers and the cooker at the same time or if not what combination(s) are OK?

We have had the boiler checked and we are getting hot water but the radiators aren't working despite bleeding them. Any advice?

I have just bought a house in a village which does not have mains gas. Propoerty currently has flexel electric ceiling heating, back boiler which runs off solid fuel burner and electric storage heaters. I'd like to install a consistent heating system throughout the property and am considering LPG or oil fired central heating system. Roughly how much would it cost to instal in a 5 bedroomed house (13 rooms in total), and remove back boiler, electric ceiling heating etc.
