Really disappointed with Callan. He did not have the competence for the job as the central heating system was more complex than he had seen before. This is not my complaint though. My complaint is that he did not fully tighten a valve in the hot water pipe which runs through my garage so nearly flooded it and he left the bed rooms completely without any heat - none of the upstairs radiators work now and he took one of the valves. That's either theft or just absent mindedness. He also doesn't return calls.

I had to call Sean to fix a bad job done by a previous plumber. It was a difficult job as he had to fix a few issues created by the previous person. Sean just got ahead with job, without comments or judging, fixed the issues, got a few pipes reconnected by attaching new ones ad-hoc bent and got everything done within a reasonable time and honest price.

Mr Harris was punctual, helpful and I felt very fair with his prices. The two pieces of work on a window and a roof were less than other national firms and competitive with local builders. He kept in contact with me by text and e mail and only wanted paying after he had completed the job. He also guaranteed the roof repairs and so far so good I have not had to ask him to return. Shiran rang to quote within the hour. Prior to this I had had 3 cancellations from big companies. He quoted less than all of them, offered to come that day or at the weekend at no extra charge and was right on time. He spent 2 hours on the service and went above and beyond the call of duty with cleaning the fire. When I had the service done previously it took around 10 minutes! I prefer to use local tradesmen rather than big businesses if possible and this proves that often the service is 10 times better!
