The work was done well and he even picked up a few things from B&Q for me. Unfortunately when he plumbed in the sink he plumbed the the hot water to the cold tap and vice versa. Also, he left a saw mark in my Ercol kitchen table with a bit of his blood which he never told me about. But then neither did I. All things considered I would hire the man again and have no issue recommending him for other jobs.

Came to fit a new shower tray and enclosure 19/12 and fit a lintel over a fire which was done well.However the shower we found 2 days after, due to waiting for sealant to dry, is unusable as the water does not drain away and floods the floor, also the tiles they put on around the shower fell off the wall as they were not stuck on properly before grout. I had paid them the day the job was done .I asked Paul to rectify it and he said he would on 31/12,then didn't attend & told me to get another plumber !

Daniel completed our full bathroom refurbishment (new suite, towel rail, skimming, floor to ceiling tiling, electric fan) in April 2013. He was polite and consciencious and worked to a high standard. Early Communication wasn't great. Failed to mention that job only done Evenings & Weekends as in full time work - Only advised after old suite removed. Quality of work was good but finishing touches let him down a bit. Had to wash off tile adhesive from ceiling and paint it myself. Felt rushed towards end of job. Initially said rubbish would be cleared - half way through job advised he could find someone to clear it but would be extra fee!

Very quick response and started work the next day. Reliable and hard working. Seem to have done a good job on the roof which was leaking - only time will tell. Stayed late to finish off plastering inside the house, which was a great help as we didn't need to find a second tradesman to do this. Altogether I would certainly recommend Star Roofing.

Wow this person is so untrustworthy & unprofessional. A professional roofer has advised me that roofing felt should always be adhered with a heat gun. Ben Brown of ABI said he hadn't stuck it down because the sun would heat it and make it stick! then scarpered. It came loose because it wasn't stuck down in the 1st place not because of any storm. He hasn't even offered to come and take a look. Before I realised how unprofessional he was I referred my neighbour who wanted a shed doing -he did not even reply

Ryan did an excellent job on fitting my new shower and replacement boiler. After fitting the shower it kept leaking into the flat below but he persevered until he found the problem and fixed it. He proved to be reliable and very polite. He has since done some further minor jobs in our new home and I would definitely recommend Ryan to anyone looking for a good plumber. His partner James Taylor is an excellent tiler and electrician, together they can do most jobs.
