Darrel worked with me on adjusting he quote in order to prioritise the things that needed the most attention. We were held up a few days by the weather initially, but once things were underway I was very happy with how things progressed. came on 21st july, gave estimate and agreed job. said panels would be ready in 5 days. eventually fitted on 21st august, 30 days later One panel faulty(not noticed by john hall). Replaced this panel a week later, when he had to reverse panels, mas they had been fitted the wrond way round!!.

This company was hired by me about year and a half a go to install laminate flooring in two bedrooms and landing area. Prior to that I have used exactly same flooring but different installers for another bedroom with no issues. The flooring boards now became disjoint in many places which may be due to there being too large gaps left beneath the beading. They are refusing to fix and blame poor laminate quality!

His quote was spot on and he was very reasonably priced compared to a previous gardener whose work left a lot to be desired. We had agreed to £750 for cutting down, removal of four willows and clearing site. On the second day they asked for an additional £350, which we were not willing to pay as we had agreed a price previously. They remained to finish the job for the sake of 'customer satisfaction'. We've been distressed to find that large pieces of willow were left, floating in our pond and the fence is broken where they dropped logs into our neighbours garden after we'd been assured that they had cleared the site completely.

A nice enough guy but the workman ship was very poor indeed and I had to continually had to ask him to redo parts as it was terrible. An averagy DIYer could do a better job Also was not impressed that he broke one of our wardrobes - not so much that he broke it but that he never had the courtesy to call and tell me straight away. I can accept that sometimes these things can get broken by accident but I would have at least expected a phone call to apologies rather than to come home and find it broken. needless to say I wont be using him again.
