I am a licensed plumber and prior moving from Australia to Ireland, I ran my own plumbing business, I worked for a couple of plumbing company and I spent 20yrs in the Royal Australian Navy. I have plumbing experience, working for one of Sydney’s leading commercial plumbing maintenance company and other company within Newcastle (Aust). I have applied my trade and technical skills to complete many tasks outside my trade. Very disappointed with this “tradesman” and his work. Things went well initially with Mervyn helping to design our bathroom refurb. The work itself seemed to go reasonably well but he when he was called back to fix a leak in the shower this wasn’t done adequately. More and more silicone was added, without fixing the leak. Eventually, when the shower leaked so badly that water poured through our living room ceiling, this guy wouldn’t even answer his phone. My advice would be to avoid.
