Mark fixed a storage heater for me, he wanted to be paid in cash. I asked him to bring an invoice / receipt with him. He didn't. He promised me he'd send one when he got home. I have asked him on 4 separate occasions to provide me with a receipt for the work and have been promised one on each occasion. If you do need a receipt, I would suggest not using this electrician, other than that he did do the work for the money quoted.

Jamie did an excellent job fitting a new kitchen for us, including wall tiling and some plastering. He was punctual and finished the job sooner than expected. SOME of the work was excellent - in particular the resurfacing of my garden with slate chip looks very nice BUT the felt peeled off the shed roof very quickly and I haven't been able to get him to make good the work :-( hr has offered a partial refund but that just dumps the problem back in my lap :-(

Job was to sand the floor of our flat and we set a price. After asking for more they guaranteed to finish for the extra price. A day later they pulled out of the job leaving it un finished. They said it was due to a black tar like substance. they said they had tried everything. My painter and decorator took a torch and scrapper and had it up in minutes. They had the wrong tools and seemed like first flooring job. After contacting asking to finish he said he would get back to me but failed to be reached.
