Mr Jeffrey arrived on time and completed the installation of the wooden blinds in the timescale quoted. It may have been a small job but it was one well done. We have jobs to do around the house that were once DIY but due to age and infirmity are all in need of a tradesman. I had several very large bushes which I needed to be removed. When the team arrived to remove them we found that the trunks were much bigger than previously thought with roots growing under the paving stones. Haydn's team put a huge amount of effort into getting the job done and removed all the debris and garden rubbish that I had asked them to take. They gave a very good price and I was very pleased with the service. I would definitely recommend them.

Tom was able to come to us two days after we made contact and did an excellent job at cutting and bevelling our stone work top. His price was very reasonable. We needed some buttresses built to support a garden wall. Fred was able to provide very practical help and advice which we were more than happy to act upon. The work was delivered in a timely way and to a very high standard. The guys were always cleaning up after themselves and always left the site clean and tidy. I had a lot of work done today - curtain rails put up, a rather drastic painting and filling in job to be done in the main room where an old fashioned radiator had been taken out, etc. The painting job was of real concern to me as this is a newly refurbished flat with no clue left as to what shade was used on the walls, but the match is faultless. My new doors were carefully positioned and due to the quality build, only some planing of surfaces was needed for wardrobe doors. . He was able to come in desired week, as other jobs had gone well and was here for 6 hours of continuous work. The only trace of his presence were some wood shavings and slivers of wood in the communal yard, where much of the work was done. The Woodyard said this was the going rate. It may require the Council to remove old doors as private sector not showing interest so far.

I went for Huttons as he was the better rated and experienced of the other quotes. We are very pleased with the bookcase. We did have a number of hiccups and this is where I rate them best. Without complaint, issues were sorted out / corrected - I was not left in any way feeling awkward or anything. Often I think it is how a tradesman responds to the hiccups that sets them apart from the others, as not every job is smooth. That is why I would highly recommend them, because if you do have an issue, I can assure you it will be sorted out.
