I used AGL to decorate my 5 bedroom house in W12 in April 2014. The standard of the work was excellent. They are experienced and were able to come up with practical solutions to issues that arose. They were able to carry out addition electrical and plumbing work. Their quote was competitive and transparent. They repsonded promptly to calls and emails. They were very dodgy and unreliable. They took all the agreed money but never came back to finish the job. I was left without a kitchen, cooking utilises and drinking water for two whole months as no other builders were willing to pick up the mess they left behind. The garden was a complete mess with concrete and heavy building rumble. I strongly advise people to be wary of hiring them.

Job was to sand the floor of our flat and we set a price. After asking for more they guaranteed to finish for the extra price. A day later they pulled out of the job leaving it un finished. They said it was due to a black tar like substance. they said they had tried everything. My painter and decorator took a torch and scrapper and had it up in minutes. They had the wrong tools and seemed like first flooring job. After contacting asking to finish he said he would get back to me but failed to be reached.

Excellent tradesman. Kyle quoted on the evening that he came round. We wanted a new quality front door. Came around when agreed. Worked very hard and to a very high standard. Even came around the following week when I had painted the door to fit the remaining ironmongery (that I couldn't do!) / make minor adjustments after the door had been hung for a week. Very pleased with the workmanship standard. Very reasonable rates and a reliable chap. Would definitely use him again.

Truly awful experience. The garage conversion was ok (bar the space around the electrical back boxes being stuffed with newspaper) but the flat refurbishment was a disaster. It started ok but as the tasks became more complex, the quality of work declined. The kitchen needed 3 fits, the bathroom has had to be rebuilt, the wiring has dropped into the walls, the joinery is execrable and the radiators don’t work. The job also took 16 weeks rather than 8.
I am a very reliable person, honest and hard working, I am new on here, but i have a very good reputation locally ,where I have done a lot of work. My team ( if needed) is very experienced , polite and respectful, we try to complete the work to a high standard of quality and with the minimum disturbance of the home running. We do building work, bricklaying, paving, block paving ( drives), floor and wall tiling, flooring, decorating, plastering, gardening( cutting down trees , bushes), guttering ( installing , maintaining, cleaning ), roofing. Also GRP flat roofs ( fibre glass). Carpentry, kitchen fitting, replacing windows or doors, partitioning walls,ceilings, lights, small demolition and removal works. we try to protect the house assets ( like carpets, etc) as good as we can. We respect all people from all different walks of life and religions. Also , we do ask to be treated as people. Andrew and his team did a complete gut out, redesign and extension to our house, the work was completed a year ago but I forgot to write a review. 3 new bathrooms, new plumbing, electric, everything. The work was completed to a very high standard and he said he guaranteed it, and in the last 9 months, any issue that has come up he has come over within days and repaired anything immediately. FANTASTIC - called viewed job Thursday and quoted and could start work today. Met up bought the goods which was helpful so I knew I had the right materials. Came today 30 mins earlier - not a problem - and he worked like a trojan, carefully, respectfully, tidied up after himself and even did a few more small jobs on top of what he quoted for.
