I also ran OFTEC oil courses and Gas courses. I have 20 years experience in the plumbing and heating industry. I also spent 18 months with SSE as a gas engineer during this time. I specialise in gas oil and LPG boiler servicing repairs and installations. With extensive knowledge in fault finding on boiler breakdowns. I also carry out all plumbing and heating works.

Great job, done to a very professional standard. The lads always turned up on time and were able to help with some unforeseen issues caused by a damp wall and flooring. The original job was for a kitchen refit but they were able to help us with all the other problems with no extra hands required.

Hired paul to reconfigure my kitchen. He did not complete the job and walked out after 3 weeks leaving numerous jobs unfinished. Many things they did have had to be redone, the finish was shoddy and I don't think he knows what a right angle is. Would obviously not recommend, other tradesmen that have seen his workmanship have told me to report him to trading standards. He left me with a half finished job, saying he was not able to achieve the level of finish I was looking for.

Showers, electric heating, underfloor heating, extra sockets, rewires, lighting, fuse boards, etc My son has just undertaken a 6 week plastering course, and with myself being self trained and helping, I am also trying to build up his business profile We are highly trustworthy and give a very fair price, We do not like or want to rip people off. I am happy to do emergency or weekend work. Whilst it wasn't this tradesman, happy taps rang me to arrange a date and the work required. it was arranged for over 2 weeks later, happy days I thought- all sorted for when I could get a day off work. Having badgered for confirmation, the day before the engineer was due to arrive, I received a text saying they wouldn't be coming and if I wanted to rearrange then to get in touch otherwise the job was closed. Lee booked me in to do the work on 3 occasions over a period of 2 weeks and didn't turn up for any of them! I tried contacting the office but nobody was answering the phone, and even more frustrating, the answerphone wouldn't accept any messages. Lee did apologise and promised to ring me this Monday to sort it out - guess what? He hasn't rung me. Totally untrustworthy.

I didn't have the work done. They came across as unprofessional and pushy. I can't coment on the quality of the work but I can coment on the quote process. Just verbal price. When I pushed for an email quote I just got the price again and little else. Nothing about what they were going to do as part of the job. I expect better. The last few tradesmen I have had on Rated have been excellent full written quotes and professional from the start. These guys even had to ask if they could borrow a tape measure!

He quoted £100,000 to do the job in 6 weeks & promised it would be stress free, At 12 weeks in He was told I no longer wanted him to complete the job as I received an electric shock from a socket that was left as a bare cable protruding from the wall. He blamed everybody else then fired the only two decent builders as he held them responsible. Even though I had paid the third stage payment a day previous, I was too distressed and my health was declining due to the anxiety and stress he had caused. Avoid!!
