Oh dear, it started off so well. Steve the plumber got in touch with us and turned up promptly when he said he would to give us a quote. As promised he phoned us with the quote and we made a date for a few weeks later for him to come and do the work. My husband took time off work on the day that we had arranged with the plumber, and guess what? Yep, he didn't turn up or even phone. What a total waste of our time.

It was an earlier misunderstanding when i stated that Kamesh did not respond promptly to my request for a quotation. he did respond electronically via e-mail, but through no fault of his own there was a technical fault with the e-mail. He has since come home to personally quote/advise me on the job needed and i retract i my earlier comment(03/07/12) about the disappointing service experienced. I hope that rectifies the misunderstanding.

The push button on the toilet broke, as not able to flush toilet Aquarius came to replace. 29th June 2009 - Shower leaking, water coming through ceiling leaving a puddle on the floor downstairs, will the problems ever end!

I sent Steve £890 after he came to measure up so he could buy materials for my job. After 6 weeks of numerous delays and excuses he's now completely stopped texting back and won't answer my calls. I've no choice now but to go through the small claims court to try and get the money back. Really disappointing. Did full day at very short notice at reasonable cost, working hard. Did good job, but didn't offer to 'make good' the holes which had to be made for pipes. Would've expected to pay extra, but customers do want a complete job. Would still recommend, though - generally satisfied.

Quoted £35 ... Tried to fix lights. After 45 mins the problem was not sorted and the price went to £100 to fix. So did not use. The new price included new wiring.

The rating was given for the redurb of bathroom however we needed a pump as the shower was not powerful enough . He ordered it and came to fit it .Within 3 days it was blowing fuses every time we used it . Told there was a fault and the supplier would send another. Installation done, afterwards there was a noticeable 'leak'. This was not completely rectified. I needed to find an alternative 'tradesperson' to complete and repair the 'leak. Which should have been rectified, completely. This has been done finally, by another Professional Tradesperson. Therefore qualifies the 'ratings'.!!

Arrived on time to discuss a quote swapped idea's prices and options. Stated he could do the work for £1100 I asked him to go and check his figuers make me a written quote, I also asked to see a picture of the bath and fitting he intended to use on my bathroom. And for some reason he never phoned or returned with the quote. A complete waste of my time

Rapid response was good, but after that it was downhill all the way. It took most of a day to do what I would expect a competent plumber to be able to do in 2 houirs. In that time he replaced the existing parts with a new syphon. The flush now worked but the bowls was very slow to empty. He left telling me there must be a blockage in the drains and drains were not his area of expertise. Dynorod came out next day and told me the drains were clear and that almost certainly the reason was that this was a siphonic system and the plumber had not supplied an essential part for this type of system. This turned out to be correct when I finally tracked down the missing part and got a different plumber out to fix it. I would advise anyone needing a plumber to look elsewhere.

He contacted me quickly and visited to get details. Said he would post me a quote...didn't get it...said he would send again...didn't get it. He said he was sending it to the wrong address so he would drop it round by hand -which he did. I booked him to do the job for a couple of months ahead and I booked 3 days off work for the work to be done. On the day the work was to commence I sat in and waited...and waited. Rang his mobile-it rang out a couple of times and went to ansaphone. Rang again an hour later, this time it rang several times before going to ansaphone. Eventually at 12 noon his wife called to say that he had hurt his back and would not be coming! Said he would contact me when he was better - this was a week ago - and guess what?...Still haven't heard anything. So, now we are heading into winter, and despite me being organised and arranging this in the summer I now face the winter with no central heating! Thanks Nick!
