Good evening mrs white Depending on what boiler you have supplying your heating , you can get a plume kit , this is an extra part which attaches to the flue on the outside and diverts the plume gasses away from any vents and windows . Gas safe regulation states that any flue shall be at least 300ml away from any window or vent . I hope this helps Thank you Gareth
