Hi George . It simple . Just split circuits before main fuse box . One for home and second for garage . regards Bogdan PROTON

There are 2 ways of doing this. Have the rcd in the house at 30ma then the garage rcd 20 or 10ma. Or put an s type rcd in the garage which allows you to adjust the time delay.
