Hi. Our house has got a system wide RCD, which causes all power to be off when there is too much earth leakage. I need someone to isolate 4 or 5 external uses on a separate RCD (lights, door entry, alarm, gate, sockets.

Hi Denny, You need to post this as a job request if you want someone to upgrade this. Either have a split load consumer unit with 2 rcd's or as Matthew suggested have all rcbo's in the consumer unit

Hi Denny, The solution is pretty straight forward however might be expensive. As all the circuits still potentially need some sort of RCD protection the solution is to remove completely the RCD and have all MCB's changed to RCBO. This means an individual circuit will not effect any of the others. Kind regards, Matt Elcert
