Great work by Rafal and his colleague. Prompt, polite, friendly and did an excellent job of fitting our new boiler and radiators. Cleaned and tidied up, left cleaner than before they started! Would absolutely recommend and will be using them in the future.

Thanks Rafal for a great job! We hired you to replace our old gravity system for a new combi boiler and you delivered exactly what we needed! It threw up some surprises, but we were well assured up front about the issues, and the cost to rectify. Rav came to service our boiler and it was condemned as it was very old and not serviced as it should have been. He then rearranged his appointments for the following week and changed it from a system to a combi boiler, moving it from the kitchen to upstairs. It took around 2 and a half days and he was very polite and friendly, very considerate of us working at home whilst it was done. We got a really good price for it and there were no hidden costs. He cleaned up after he left and replastered the old locati

The job went from a quick repair to a full boiler install as he could do the job when required and at a good price. His technical knowledge is first clas and he worked in isolation through the Coronovirus outbreak to get us a spanking new top clsss boiler installed in about 4 days. Will be using him again for servicing work and other bolier and plumbing related isssues.

We have a hot water pipe running under the cement in the kitchen floor. We would like to install slates floor tiles in the kitchen but would these crack from the heat from the pipe?

It's summer so I'm not using the central heating but the pressure on my boiler keeps dropping. I have to top it up once a week. I have a combi boiler Vaillant hrpro-144393. where would the leak likely be?

Hi Kevin Problem could be in a leaking pipe within a system, valves or inside a boiler ( faulty heat exchanger) not enough pressure in a vessel or PRV . You need gas safe reg engineer to service your boiler

Water spilled on newly set tiles

I just laid floor tiles in bathroom. About an hour later, I noticed water spilling from floor board pipe (I removed slant fin radiator). Most of this water drained into basement via hole in floor for toilet drain. Will this additional moisture cause significant damage to newly set tiles.

Not always if they were laid with a proper adhesive such as Rapid Set.

Replacing bathroom tiles

Our new bathroom was installed in Feb last year but the floor tiles have badly stained due to their texture & white colour. Was wondering if it would be possible to remove only the floor tiles without damaging the under floor heating and install new tiles that are more hard wearing?

Hi Sarah Unfortunately in my experience it can not be done without damaging underfloor heating if it's electric. Mats are always covered with an adhesive and they get very hard to remove from .

Laying laminate flooring but the planks will not stay clicked in ! Do one lenghth then do next but pops out ,will not stay in place ,any suggestions ,as at a loss ,layed this type of flooring before no trouble !

I recently bought a new house but has lingering nicotine smells, the house has been redecorated and the sellers repainted and decorated but it is still there. I have tried advice i found on the internet and removed and cleaned everything again including behind radiators. Is there an odour blocker that works? Grateful for any advice..

Dear Nick If house have had been redecorated and tou still have a smell of nicotine please try to wash all carpets if you have wall paper I am affraid that you will need to remove old wall paper and paper again.
