Matt was able to quickly diagnose a problem with my hot water and had it fixed the next day after collecting a new part. Simple and easy as anybody who is without hot water would wish. His communication was quick and he checked in with a revised estimate before continuing to make sure i was fine with the cost. Very reasonable, would highly recommend.

Matt was able to inspect and quote within hours which was fantastic when a boiler needs replacing. After explaining my requirements he supplied and fitted a suitable boiler and was very flexible with the installation day. The job was completed as planned with a spot on quote; he completed all the paperwork and online registrations for me so the guarantee was in place on the same day. All in all I'm very happy Matt got in contact with me for this job and I will certainly use him again.

Matt turned up exactly on time and did a great job. He explained how my hot water system works and put my mind at ease regarding the condition of my boiler. While carrying out the boiler service he was happy to answer my questions and recommended solutions that I could do to address some of my concerns. He also recommended some possible replacement options should I decide to replace my boiler with no hard sell. Matt had all the tools necessary and cleaned up afterwards. Great job despite my hindrance!

In advance of agreeing to start the work, Matt was very helpful in taking time to talk through the options and answer the questions we had. When Matt came to install the new boiler and Nest the work was done with minimal disruption and I was very pleased with the result. It all came in as quoted and I would happily go back to Matt for future work.

After numerous issues with my boiler and not the best service from the service contractcompany, working with Matt was a breath of fresh air. He had an initial look, knowledgeable about the issue and what needed to be done. He subsequently identified a more serious issue but gave the options on how to fix plus flexible re dates/times to fit in with my working hours. The upshot was a new boiler, fitted very quickly and I was happy with the quote. Can recommend Matt highly enough and would use again.

Hi mark, if you have a system which is fed my a tank, then it’s posible that your feed pipe is blocked due to debris in the system

With a heat only boiler is the water in the cylinder heated up when the heating is switched on to heat the radiators ? What i am trying to establish is if the water in the cylinder is heated for "free" as a by product of heating the radiators.

Hi Adam, the short answer is no. The water isn’t free. It will be heated by the heat only boiler via a diverter valve or mid position valve

Radiator not working

The radiator is brand new. And I've moved it from one side of room to other. There is water in pipes and radiator but it won't get hot. The hot water only goes as far as the old pipe/new pipe connector but no further. It's a back boiler on a gravity fed system. There are 4 other radiators up stairs 3 of which are boiling hot. The other is luke warm. I've taken this one off and flushed it but alas no difference

Good evening Gary, i Have read your comments and my recommendation would be to close the radiators that are very warm which should force heat downstairs to the offending radiator. should you need any further explanation feel free to call as my advice is free. sourceenerngy
