I am a general builder with over 30 years of experience in the trade. I take pride in the work that I do and in finishing in time, on budget and to a very high standard. We undertake small maintenance work right up to extensions, refurbishments and new builds.

Gary shepherd and his team worked conscientiously to provide the best service possible. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were always polite and a pleasure to work with. They always turned up on time and kept me informed regarding progress of the project. I have no reservation in recommending him and his team.

Gary completed a 10 week project for us to build a dining room/utility room extension and fit a new kitchen. We are absolutely delighted with the result and would highly recommend him. Gary carried out all aspects of the work including building, plastering, electrics, plumbing, kitchen installation, flooring, etc he is very capable in a wide range of skills. We really appreciated Gary's problem solving skills, great work ethic, and the extra efforts he put in to complete the work on time and budget.

Gary is very hard working and just gets on with the work. We supplied the materials for a new bathroom and Gary converted our tired bathroom without breaking a sweat. Excellent job! We now have a fantastic new bathroom!

Gary is an expert in all he does, as a comprehensive builder. A very affable man, who doesn't even stop for a cup of tea. Every day he left the workplace absolutely tidy and never needed to ask for anything throughout the job. He renovated our bathroom to a very high standard within agreed timescales. As he is capable of executing all sort of building works, we will now not have a need to look for another tradesman.

Absolutely great, hard working and knowledgable tradesman who will be doing other works for us, due to his no nonsense, attitude, he coped admirably with curve balls thrown at him by the hidden problems in our walls and fireplace, coming up with solutions that were effective and practical. Highly recommended.

Gary carried out a full renovation of our hall, stairs and all upstairs rooms to a very high standard. He was always punctual and trustworthy. We are very happy with all plumbing, plastering, carpentry and electrical work he carried out single handed. He fitted a new bathroom to our complete satisfaction and one we always dreamed we would have. We would recommend him to anyone and would be happy to show you any of the work he carried out for us.

It's never easy choosing someone to work for you and invite into your home, everyone has an 'ideal' tradesman. Gary is our 'ideal': hardworking, punctual, knowledgeable, clean, quiet, willing, trustworthy, reliable, informative. Fixed the (few) snags and made all the requested changes (lots!) without murmur....I could go on but you get the picture! ...plus, he doesn't drink tea or coffee so no running up and down delivering hot mugs or collecting dirty dishes! :) I recommend Gary without reservation.
