About Etheridge Windows

Etheridge Windows was established in 2019 with one goal in mind – to make homes look and feel better with quality windows and doors, fitted by people you can trust. From day one, we’ve believed that choosing new windows or doors shouldn’t be stressful. Instead, it should be an easy process with clear advice, fair prices, and a friendly team to guide you through every step. We started out in a small upstairs office above Cheers in Stanley, before moving to Beamish Street as our business began to grow. It wasn’t long before we outgrew that premises too, and today you’ll find us proudly based on Front Street in Stanley – right at the heart of our community. What began as a small, family-run business has flourished thanks to word of mouth from happy customers. People appreciate our attention to detail, the care we take in every installation, and the fact that we always put people first. Over the years, we’ve also expanded into commercial contract work, delivering high-quality solutions for businesses alongside our residential customers. Even as our team has grown, our values have stayed the same: honesty, reliability, and pride in our work. Our story is still unfolding, but our promise remains – to help you create a home or business you love, with windows and doors built to last.

Man who came out very friendly and helpful . Then had no contact and had to chase just to be told they weren’t interested in doing the job. Disappointing

Etheridge construction recently converted part of my garage to a utility room with toilet. I found the builders were very friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable, nothing was too much bother, they tidied away after themselves . I am very happy with my new utility and would definitely recommend Etheridge’s.

Etheridge Windows replaced the windows, door & new dome type roof using quality products, making sure that everything fitted perfectly & looked beautiful. Steph & Sean did a fantastic job, leaving everything clean, tidy & dry, even though the British weather threw everything it had at them. I would definitely recommend Etheridge Windows & Construction & will use them again for any further projects on my home.

From first contact Paul the Surveyor came out and Paul listened to what we wanted and and showed us the brochures.Paul was very knowledgable and friendly. If we had any questions Elaine and Stephen from the office answered them . Window fitters Craig Marty Steph and Shaun we amazing all very friendly and chatty left the house lovely and clean every day. My windows and doors are amazing and would recommend Etheridge windows Well done and thanks so much Carol and Gordon

Etheridge Windows were fabulous! Leanne, the Sales Manager, & Elaine, the Installation Coordinator, were both very efficient, as was Paul who came to measure for the windows. The 2 fitters, Steph & Sean, were polite, friendly & helpful. They came on time every day, took down & rehung curtains, moved furniture etc. which was too heavy for me, fitted my new windows, replaced everything & left my home clean & tidy. The house feels much warmer & brighter. I thoroughly recommend Etheridge Windows.

My windows were installed in clean and professional manner. The team arrived promptly on time and finished the installation in record time. We had one small hiccup when one unit was cracked but I give them five stars because they went away and returned within a couple of hours with a replacement. Well done lads!

Brilliant from start to finish. Steve Etheridge gave a great quotation and gave clear information regarding the window specification and fitting date. The fitters arrived on time each day and cleared up after themselves. They were very polite and covid safe. The whole house (4 bedrooms) was completed in two and a half days. The finished product was as promised. If I could give more than 5 stars for this company I would. I highly recommend Etheridge Windows.

Steven contacted me to quote for the job and came around as promised. He was very helpful, making sure he understood exactly what we wanted and there was no pressure to proceed. The window was ready and fitted within the week! The fitter was friendly and helpful too. Our new window is great, just what we wanted. Great company to deal with, great communication and super fast service. Definitely recommended!

I had an urgent requirement for my back door to be replaced as new tenants were moving in. From the first phone call to completion of the job, I was highly impressed by Limehaus! I spoke to several companies and they stood out with their professionalism. They went out the same afternoon to check the door, provided a very fair quote, came out over the weekend to fit it for me and left the work area really clean.Can't usually be bothered with reviews but Limehaus have earned it.Thanks very much for your help!
