Builder

Building was not a square building with corner returns at around 32 degrees not 90 or even 45 A lot of brickwork had to be done freehand. Timber work wasn't finished they were looking at half a job with a block work wall and wall plate to go on along with facia board. I should of walked off this job the second week and she knew I was going to. I wondered why the builders who done the first part of project didn't come back.

After being cancelled then rescheduled from other plumbers/gas engineers, I almost lost hope and patient. John contacted me very promptly to confirm the date, address and quote. He's professional, turned up on time and followed the job until it's done. There's a lot of mishaps along the way and it took him almost 2 hours to finish the job. He explained everything to me step by step on what happened, what should i do and is it even worth doing. I'll strongly recommend anyone to book John.

Turned up on time. Tested gas from the main inlet and then the pipes to two gas fires, explained why he was doing each step. All done and tested within around 75minutes. Confirmed there is no leak and advised on next steps to get the gas fires tested, changed or serviced.

had been laid up for days with sciatica. i hope this person never gets it , as people who have will know the pain. couldn't even get out to van to retrieve work book and no one there to fetch it. although work was last thing on my mind. i didn't get a call from this man either to see why i hadn't showed instead he decided to be vindictive and go straight for the jugular . only now nearly a week after symptoms do i feel ready to work and respond to comments. i suggest you look at other ratings and decide

John built me a new kitchen wall of breeze block. Knocked down the existing wall first. Re-positioned the door. Built the wall to top of apex to provide aecurity against next property. A high quality build. Very solid with a good finish in the areas that will always be on show. Would not hesitate to use again for building work.

Water Pipe Leak There was a leak in the bathroom which resulted in water coming through the ceiling in the kitchen below. It was not obvious where the leak was coming from. John from C&J worked methodically trying to identify the leak which meant taking up a number of floor boards. Thanks to his experience and expertise the problem was identified and soon rectified in a short period of time with no fuss. Excellent service
