The guys were absolutely brilliant. They came round and within 20 minutes they knew what was wrong. They had a new boiler ordered and picked up that night and came back first thing the next day to fix it. Honest, friendly and had my new boiler fitted within a few hours. They found solutions to tricky issues they found due to the build of my flat. They went above & beyond.

Very quick and accurate quote that they tuck to. After finding out I had a faulty boiler, Dave and Brian sourced and fitted a new boiler on the day. They were quick, tidy and very professional. Also took a quick look at our failing lights, diagnosed and fixed the problem on the spot! Very highly recommended.

Very responsive, reliable and friendly. My boiler was broken, they called me a few minutes after I posted the job on RatedPeople, came a few hours later and fixed it quickly but also taking the time to explain all the steps they were taking and why the boiler had broken down. Highly recommended.

Dave and Brian did a sterling job on a new boiler fitting at our flat - we just moved in and had a nr. 20 yr old boiler on its last legs. Broadoak's quote was extremely competiti, and they turned the job around in a heartbeat. All along the way Brian and Dave communicated well, showing their expertise in handling the removal of an old system and providing a quick and reliable new one. It's working well and looks the bees knees. Broadoak are recommended for quick, adaptable, reliable and competitive work

Finding myself with a broken 15-20 year old combi boiler I contacted Rated People and within five minutes I was in contact with brothers Brian and Dave, who committed themselves and arrived on time (8 a.m.) the next morning. They had to replace the dangerous boiler and set about it, buying the parts and doing the job and finishing in the late afternoon. Throughout the day they had been courteous and considerate, and their clearing up and making good left my home as though they had never been here. Brilliant

They started without telling me the price and charged £220 at the end. They also switched off my boiler and refusing to turn it back on so I ended up no hot water for quite a few days. The worst part is that they claimed they had fixed the gas leak but in fact the leak was still there and I had to call in another engineer.

new boiler incorrectly fitted,not registered with gas safe or manufacturer,after a 45 minute conversation with the manufacturer(recorded by manufacturer).the gas supply was incorrect we turned off the gas.So you called out the engineer that fitted the boiler.He changed the gas supply to the boiler(incorrectly).The boiler is still unregistered,and we still don't know the gas safe number of this engineer,If indeed he has one,which we suspect he doesn't.charged you £180 not £220.

I have confirmed that the other engineer has been safe registered and the boiler has been registered. The truth is you didn't actually solve the gas leak issue but pretending you had and charged a lot. You also lost a door in my flat but denied its existence.

We didn't pretend anything,you had the gas pipe replaced from meter to boiler and then to cooker,for nothing I think not.As for gas safe numbers,why was your boiler not registered until we did it.

The only way to solve the gas issue was replacement of pipe run and you were told that,

The pipe was replaced by other engineer,not us.Why request us to look when you didn't have a problem other than new boiler not working with no warranty.You could have called the manufacturers out but couldn't because of installation issues

Great work done by Brian and brother Dave in removing a gas fire and a rather imposing surround. Possibly a little more expensive than others but I didn't mind since the work was done quickly and professionally. Thanks guys.

They were very professional, and quickly tested everything asked lots of questions to find out exactly what the problem was. Although the problem was beyond fixing they did talk through exactly why this was the case.

Felt wrong from the beginning

Thank you for the rating. Two plumbers were sent out to fix a boiler that was condemned as immediately dangerous. Initially thought a new boiler was needed. Managed to repair and charged you £120 and the job was completed within 2 hours. I do not understand this rating.

Just to clarify, job was done within 1 hour and it was £180 not £120. I have the invoice...BTW you were the one saying I needed a new boiler.

After posting my job here on a Sunday, Brian from Broadoak called within an hour to arrange a visit in order to provide a quotation. The quote was extremely reasonable, especially given the three distinct jobs we had for him, so we arranged for him to return the next day. Brian arrived early (after having confirmed this was OK) and carried out the work quickly and to high quality. We're so happy with the work, we're getting Broadoak to quote us for other, larger, jobs we have!

Plasterers had to brought in once the damage was assessed correctly by Brian. They however left a huge mess, although brian came to vlean this up a week later.

Extremely poor quality of work.replastered ceiling,already cracked,can't use shower,tiles coming off wall,toiled lopsidedby 1cm,toilet already blocked x2leaking through kitchen ceiling.waterpipe to toilet leaking, tiled floor finish ruined by grout,sealant all over bathroom coming off,second bath panel already bubbled and ruined by water,tiling on walls uneven,nice chrome screws discarded and horrible cheap cross screws used,hole around shower fixing which has had to be filled in with sealant.aggresive !
