Because we have started from "scratch" We have learned all the ins and outs of building a lifelong bathroom & kitchen. We control every step of the way, from demolition, surface preparation, material acquisitions, plumbing, electrical, tile installation, cleaning and rubbish handling.

During the work, there were many unexpected additional costs. Did not meet the deadline ( 3 weeks late) . Quality of work not as agreed. Missing cabinet pieces, One cabinet Base finish not covered. Oven/hob not fixed properly and not connected to electricity, unprofessional kitchen painting and plastering. We called the contractor to come to fix the above mentioned problems but he didn’t come despite our many calls and messages. Finally he stopped responding to phone calls and messages. work unsupervised.

The results of the work are ok but it was difficult getting to the end - over time & budget plus arguments over agreed work and no electrics certificate provided. Some of the work was beyond Hamed’s knowledge, so mistakes were made (lintels not being fitted right etc). This is where materials got more expensive. Hamed didn’t take notes during meetings, which accounted for agreements being forgotten & then me being blamed for mistakes. Hamed also won't honour the gurantee he gave for a a leaking shower.

Hamed came to my house to give me a quote he seemed like a lovely guy. We agreed on a start date and price for the job. when I call to confirm that he was still coming the day before Hamed did not answer my call I then texted him asking him to call me back and got no reply. He could have at least rang to let me know he was no longer interested in doing the job. He wasted my time and left me at short notice to get someone else just before Christmas. Very disappointing

I would highly recommend Hamed. He turned up and just got on with it. He did an excellent job and worked long hours. He came in on time and on budget. We trusted him enough to leave him in the house while we were out. and that meant a lot to us. We are delighted with the finish. Very neat and tidy, he cleaned up every evening before he left . He is a lovely polite bright young man with a very bright future ahead of him. Best of luck Hamed.
