Retracting the previous review I gave on Affordable Repairs. Reason below. Got Ken to repair a leaking roof on the same property, after many attempts, wasted time and ££££ it was clear he was shooting in the dark and has no knowledge in this area. He even turned up at the property once (without being asked) pretended to do some work on the leaking roof, then had the audacity to send me a bill for this! When I refused to pay it he got personal. Lacks integrity. Use at your own risk.

Relm were fantastic. I have done a lot of renovations over the years but our regular builders weren’t available and we had to get the job done on short notice. Relm were professional, helpful and most notably stayed on time and on budget. I wasn’t able to be onsite and they kept me up to date with photos and videos. They left the building site clean and tidy and I am delighted with the quality of the workmanship. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again or recommend them to friends.

Fatjon / Tony and team did a fantastic job decorating my house, getting rid of damp and giving my front garden a completely new look. They re built wonky walls, rendered them and laid some amazing tiles giving an original Victorian look. Communication was excellent and there were no surprise / hidden costs at the end. Despite encountering a few surprises (lack of isolation valves, dead pigeons etc) the job was done in good time and on budget.. Colin worked with me to provide options on fitments to suit style & budget and was honest when I was better off purchasing direct rather than through him. The job wasn't rushed and the finish is excellent. Also took on some external wiring work as well.

This job took a lot of commitment to make the best use of secondhand materials and was also very labor intensive, but he showed great perseverance and always turned up happy and chatty to do the job. We told Pedro what we wanted and he did some CGI images for us, we chatted on the phone about stuff and also things we liked. His attention to detail was brilliant, he worked quickly and kept us up to date with the projects development with pictures. Really pleased with the work done it the flat. Marek was reliable, hard working and skilled at his work. The price quoted after a short visit came promptly and was within my budget. All of the work was completed to a high standard and there were no extra costs beyond the quote, which included materials and taking away rubbish. The flat was left tidy.
