I am very disappointed with the service received from SKK construction. Whilst Sean did come and give us a reasonable quote, he failed to deliver! He cancelled our first appointment 15 minutes before the set time, but rearranged another date for the following week. The second time he did not arrive and failed to respond to texts. This is an appalling service- if a trades person does not want a job, they should just say they are not interested. His failure to turn up has ruined plans for 2 weekends .

To add to this if this dishonest person is blaming me for a lie ee can take mobile phone statements and check how many times he "contacted" me and how many times I tried to contact him with his obvious ignorance to my attempts trying to reach him. I have nothing more to add as it is complete waste of time for explanations when dealing with this type of people. I would anyone to think more than twice trying to hire him.

Eldi & Edmund were very unprofessional blaming us for their poor quality job, in fact the work is absolutely appalling we had to take everything back down. The measurement is WAY out, the clothes rail was installed not level and the shelves have missing brackets. Please think twice before using them or if you interested to see the job they done to my house feel free to contact me as I have photos. If you decided to use them DONOT pay them until you are happy with it, something we didn't do - Lesson learnt.

Adrian is unfortunately a very dishonest and unreliable person. He viewed the job, agreed the price, took a whole day to board a small ceiling and start one of the 5 door linings. i trusted and paid the lion share of the job, wrong decision i guess, as this is what followed, he assured me he would come back the following Saturday, but then the excuses started to flow, my boss has asked me to work, its my anniversary etc... No show on the next Sat either, has blocked my number also? AVOID at all costs

I have now had to gut out the bathroom due to major damp issues and flooding as Lloyd used normal plasterboards (not waterproof) in the bathroom which were disintegrating in addition to the tiles falling off. The leaks came from his pipework from the toilet/basin/shower and most importantly, he fitted an isolation switch for the electric shower INSIDE the bathroom which is against regulations and did not create a separate shower circuit to the RCD box with its own MCB. Fortunate to have no fatalities!

I asked this person to rebuild a damaged bin container just like the one next to it. He gave me an acceptable quote and I was paying for materials. The adjoining bin was made from 3/4 ply and he used 1/4 inch MDF that began to dissolve with the first rain. He accused me of sabotaging his work and even suggested somebody had jumped on it! In our subsequent text exchange he even used the F word. I’m now having to have the whole job redone. His skills appear to be limited and he has a short temper.

After he visited the property to give us a quote, we contacted him again for an urgent job. He agreed to fix it, but while waiting for him to arrive and do the job, we could not reach him again. We have tried to call and send messages, but there has been no response. He also blocked me on WhatsApp for no reason.

I repeat -Martin Kingsley’s manner was stressful - I am not surprised he is capable of presenting a scenario bearing no resemblance to reality. His stance appeared suspect to me by his continual insistence to sight the structural engineer’s report and when he stated a wall showing damp patches and peeling paint was dry. When he left, he handed me a card asking me to get in touch.

They were not unqualified. They met every regulation in the book. You first said the wires needed to be in conduit, but when I had this checked, you then accepted that this was not the case. You said the 'regulation had changed' but conduit was never a legal requirement, just something done for practicality. The electricity was working fine for 3 days before you came and started working. This is nothing personal just bad trademanship, which I have a moral duty to highlight to others.
I always wanted to have my own company but i was to comfortable working as self employed,after i did some research about the benefits of a limited company i decide to open my own one so here i am today running New Look Constructionn.
