According to these trades people their installation is guaranteed for two years. Since the installation of our decking things have gone wrong and I have tried on several occasions to get them back to put things right. I arranged for a rep that we purchased the composite decking from to come to the house ( he travelled from the north of England ) to explain to them where they had gone wrong. They could not even be bothered to turn up for the appointment. Texts/phone calls just being ignored. Stay clear !!

Amazing service From Alen and his team. His quote beat the competition by far, but without any compromise on the windows. We were only planning to have new wooden double glazed windows for the front of the house, but were actually able to have new windows for the whole house. Alen also made suggestions which we had not thought about. He said we would have beautiful new windows and he has delivered. Clean, polite and kept informed throughout the process. Mark’s/assistant’s work was good. Some skirting had staple holes. He was informative and professional while quoting. Our requirement for replacing coving got ignored. Comms were sketchy, phone notifications were turned off often and we waited days for a reply. The job was posted as urgent and from first contact to completion took over three weeks, this was frustrating. We accept that he and his partner were unwell within this time frame for approx three days.

Took 4 months to repair water damage to living room ceiling. Small damp testing holes left unfilled in walls. After 6 months they are either unable or unwilling to give me the value of the insurance claim for me to get new policy quotes. Regretfully I cannot recommend using this company.
I’m a qualified carpenter, undertaking all aspects of 1st and 2nd fix carpentry work. I’m happy to take on bigger projects but also enjoy smaller jobs too.

It may be 2 years, but we have just had to have the bathroom ripped apart as the shower was not sealed adequately and there has been an insidious leak that has damaged the ceiling below and floor in bathroom. The work, when we had dismantled the tiles covering it, was seen to be of a less than adequate standard.

Poor quality work, had to get it re-done. Did not remove bamboo root as asked, hid it inside a raised bed along with lots of rubbish. Poor brickwork on raised bed - didn't even notice had changed from stretcher bond until I pointed out the mess. Patio & path had wobbly slabs (turns out they had laid it without a sub base) & when I asked them to re-do they didn't turn up to finish the job. Hassled for money as they went along, unfortunately I paid most of it. Had to use the remainder to get it done right.

Spoke to him he for quote/do the job on certain days. Received a phonecall asking if he could come and do the job on the days I wasn't available. Informed me he would get in touch with me on a certain day to rearrange. Never did so. And to top it off, he then contacted Rated People to say he hadn't been given a chance to quote when he had! I can't rate him for the quality of his work but I do know one thing-there is no way I'm going to let a tradesman into my house when they lie and are dishonest. Avoid.
