They were very dodgy and unreliable. They took all the agreed money but never came back to finish the job. I was left without a kitchen, cooking utilises and drinking water for two whole months as no other builders were willing to pick up the mess they left behind. The garden was a complete mess with concrete and heavy building rumble. I strongly advise people to be wary of hiring them.

Job was to sand the floor of our flat and we set a price. After asking for more they guaranteed to finish for the extra price. A day later they pulled out of the job leaving it un finished. They said it was due to a black tar like substance. they said they had tried everything. My painter and decorator took a torch and scrapper and had it up in minutes. They had the wrong tools and seemed like first flooring job. After contacting asking to finish he said he would get back to me but failed to be reached.

The decking is sagging and moves every time you walk on it which we have to do to get out of the garden. The step also rocks when walked upon. The wood was left cracked in areas and there are some miss cuts. The concrete was undertaken during torrential rain and has resulted in constant dusting being trailed onto the decking and subsequently into the house. The concrete ran down the length of the driveway and cannot be removed. Phoned to complain 3 weeks ago and heard nothing further.

Truly awful experience. The garage conversion was ok (bar the space around the electrical back boxes being stuffed with newspaper) but the flat refurbishment was a disaster. It started ok but as the tasks became more complex, the quality of work declined. The kitchen needed 3 fits, the bathroom has had to be rebuilt, the wiring has dropped into the walls, the joinery is execrable and the radiators don’t work. The job also took 16 weeks rather than 8.

Amazing service From Alen and his team. His quote beat the competition by far, but without any compromise on the windows. We were only planning to have new wooden double glazed windows for the front of the house, but were actually able to have new windows for the whole house. Alen also made suggestions which we had not thought about. He said we would have beautiful new windows and he has delivered. Clean, polite and kept informed throughout the process. Unfortunately this job seemed to be beyond Jay's ability and we had to stop it part way through and find someone else to finish it. On the positive side Jay recognised this and was very apologetic and was certainly not trying to rip us off. But I cannot recommend him for this type of job (replacing existing front door and frame with new frame and door).

George responded quickly to my request, gave a very reasonable quote, did a really quite tricky and complicated job above a conservatory, to fix cracks in the pebbledash of an external wall, and seal all around the windows. A fortnight later he re-plastered internally. George gives the impression of being somewhat chaotic! But he is extremely experienced, knows what he is doing, and actually did a very good job. The timings and quote agreed to were respected, he was polite and cordial, and communicated well
