We agreed a date and time and when he was held up, he contacted me to let me know and attended as soon as he could. Do not use this trader. I have used Wayne in the past and he completed the job as quoted. Re-booked again this Easter to supply and fit carpet. He took the cash (over £1000) and we have been unable to contact him since. Currently going through small claims to try and get our money back.

Giles quickly surveyed the job, gave me a firm quote and stuck to it, even tho' he had to get some more turf to finish the job. He raked off and prepared the ground in double-quick time and the turf was laid by mid afternoon. Job done! And done quickly which was what I wanted.

Did full day at very short notice at reasonable cost, working hard. Did good job, but didn't offer to 'make good' the holes which had to be made for pipes. Would've expected to pay extra, but customers do want a complete job. Would still recommend, though - generally satisfied.

Didn't seem to have the skills and integrity of a "qualified" tradesman. Said it would take two men two days to strip ONE room that I had stripped mostly myself. My budget was as stated £500, his quotation was double this at £1,020.00. He also overestimated the time to paint the skirting board, this would also take two days or more, the room isn't large it is 4mtrs by 5mtrs. His manner did not strike me as workmanlike, and I would certainly not recommend him to anybody i know.

2 storey extension ok initially organising others to come in and do work, had contract & payment plan from outset but as work went on communication became worse sometimes didn't turn up, no replies to messages etc ..no eye for detail in finishes had to get others to finish or put right his work.

Originally the man was our hero, baby fast approaching and no floor,He priced up the job and came two days later! Fantastic! But then what a turn it took, Lawrence had to come back a second time to do our beading and fit a customized threshold, the beading came away next day and he never did fit the threshold after promising six times he would come, but never did. Real shame as started off so well. He has now blocked us from calling and owes us £50 which i paid in advance, more fool me.

Job started off well but there were issues afterwards. Walls are not level, the pointing is not right and the opening of the doorway is way out of level. They have not filled in block work joints on the outside and rainwater is seeping in. I have to pay for another bricklayer to put everything right. Would I recommend these guys? No chance.

DPG are a two man operation who seemed friendly and personable. They took £50 cash in advance for cutting the lawn and weeding as I had to work. They cut the lawn but did not weed or finish edging. I text for them to finish the job and they said they would come. However, they didn't turn up as agreed. They have avoided my calls for over a week now and failed to reply to all further calls/voicemail/texts. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them.

Unreliable. He came to give quote and we agreed a date to start work. He didn't turn up, no communication from him. Kept saying he would turn up on various days then didn't. No communication. I booked holidays from work, so lost them. Eventually text me to say he will start the following week. No communication since them even though I have tried several times.
