We used MBBC to build a porch on our house. Robin was great in his comms, from survey through to completion we always knew where we were with him. He has a confidence in his knowledge that really helps to put your mind at ease, even when we discovered a potential problem he came up with a solution really quickly. Dan very polite, punctual and helpful - did really good job on our gate and also fitted a small piece of fencing for us (which we hadn't requested in our original enquiry) to match the gate. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Richard actually text messaged to call me an idiot out of nowhere!? Unsure as to why as he's not even done a job for me and I've never even met the guy - was just a text conversation regarding a quote. Obviously there's some issues going on there.

Peter did an amazing job with our tiles in the kitchen and bathroom. We had some tricky tiles, with minimal grout, some textured, and including mitred edges, all of which is very unforgiving of any imperfections: Peter’s work was just perfect. It was also completely on schedule, and reasonably priced. It’s hard to find good tilers—we have many friends that have had tiling done and none of them could recommend their tiler. We were very lucky to find Peter, and will recommend him without hesitation.

In summary, he took the tiles out and put panels but the shower frame is is leaking in two places, the shower head is twisted and not centred, head/cover of on/off shower valve is loose, he left towel rail leaking, did not fix the leak of toilet, he broke the on/off valve when trying to put it back and the towel rail valve so we had to buy new ones. We paid him £600, £100 by bank transfer and £500 he wanted cash. And now he is not answering the phone and not replying messages. It's been months now. Terrible

these guys havn.t a clue .. overcharged.. had massive leek after they had been coming through kitchen ceiling. they came back out. and supposed to have fixed their mistake. 15 min later still leaking ... never picked up my calls .. then they turner their phone off. . job finished by another plumber I had to call. all it needed was new waste pipe. 90 pound job cost me 220. don't let these plumbers loose on your plumbing.....

Awful job. Obvious Andy didn't have the skills to do the job but attempted it anyway. Didn't take the doors off before starting to plane them! Didn't measure up! 5hrs later the house is covered in sawdust, one door has been badly planed and fits worse than before and is no longer secure to the frame. None of the rest of the jobs done.Then he ups and leaves. Not a handyman, just an idiot and a disaster, Wouldn't trust him to change a lightbulb. Will cost me £100 to fix his mess

Luke gave a decent quote for some roof, paving & fence work. What they did complete was good, but they did not finish the job. Communication was very frustrating and I had to constantly chase for updates. I stupidly paid the full balance after the garden was complete, but before the roof work was. It's now 9 weeks on & despite repeated assurances that they will come back (and me offering a further £200 to complete the roof work), I do not believe they intend to return. 3/5
