Michael of Cytrek done a great job of restoring some of my rotten external window cills by removing the rotten wood and replacing it with new wood, plus filling, making them look virtually like new after he finished decorating them. He also done some Guttering and Roof repairs for me.

The finish is excellent on the render and the quality is constant through what was a fairly large rendering job on my detached house. Lovely people and the work was very well done and very helpful advice given -we'd have them again. The tidying up inside was also very good but outside it wasn't done properly. They came back to check work done and rectified some small issues but tidying outside could still have been better.

Would not recommend, was inconsiderate, turned up at my home late at night twice unexpectedly. Did not paint neatly - didn’t use frog tape I provided - painted into my ceiling and skirting boards. Ruined my original fireplace by splashing paint on it. Left my home dirty with all the rubbish left behind. Did not have basic tools that a professional tradesperson would usually have - used my new hoover and left paint all over it and used it to hoover up wallpaper which made it jam.

Alton Services built a 2-storey extension for us and we were so delighted with their work they went on to refurbish our bathroom, completely refurbish my mother's new home and build a conservatory. Changing this review. I would not use them again. Got them back for a 2nd job. Started 1 week late which was due to sickness - fine. Spent first 3 days working no more than a few hours a day putting plastic down. 5th day started painting. Colour matched rather than using the brand agreed to. Only did one coat of paint on all surfaces. After only a couple of months this js now chipping away at the slightest touch. No prep work on old surfaces, one coat of paint rather than 2 or 3, didn’t use brand I picked.

George responded quickly to my request, gave a very reasonable quote, did a really quite tricky and complicated job above a conservatory, to fix cracks in the pebbledash of an external wall, and seal all around the windows. A fortnight later he re-plastered internally. George gives the impression of being somewhat chaotic! But he is extremely experienced, knows what he is doing, and actually did a very good job. The timings and quote agreed to were respected, he was polite and cordial, and communicated well

I am very disappointed with the service received from SKK construction. Whilst Sean did come and give us a reasonable quote, he failed to deliver! He cancelled our first appointment 15 minutes before the set time, but rearranged another date for the following week. The second time he did not arrive and failed to respond to texts. This is an appalling service- if a trades person does not want a job, they should just say they are not interested. His failure to turn up has ruined plans for 2 weekends .

Adrian is unfortunately a very dishonest and unreliable person. He viewed the job, agreed the price, took a whole day to board a small ceiling and start one of the 5 door linings. i trusted and paid the lion share of the job, wrong decision i guess, as this is what followed, he assured me he would come back the following Saturday, but then the excuses started to flow, my boss has asked me to work, its my anniversary etc... No show on the next Sat either, has blocked my number also? AVOID at all costs

He did 2 small jobs - one was fine, but the other, he did not know how to do and should have said so. This was re-polishing a kitchen worktop. He did not read the application instruction despite being shown them. His painting skills ;eave a lot to be desired and he rushed it as he was being cashed up by others. He left the job incomplete and has not been in contact to finish it completely. He is basically an ok handyman and has a lot of jobs he's juggling all the time. I wouldn't recommend him for any work.

Paint was left bubbling on the walls, had to re do myself, took my money and ran, no idea of what 'preparation' means just painted on walls no primer used, didn't use 'textured paint' as per request, had to remind him of the rail he forgot to paint. Painted over old wallpaper too... Didn't offer to put anything right left me some paint to finish job myself...

Arrived 2hkurs early for estimating visit. I was not dressed. Then tried to tell me that to mean guttering one had to remove it. Rubbish. I worked in housing so know better. Also very high quote so not interested in this trader.
We have over 15 years experience in the building trade and want our costumers to be happy. We are happy to come and do the smaller jobs as well as extensions, damp proofing and painting and decorating. We are honest and professional.
