We agreed a date and time and when he was held up, he contacted me to let me know and attended as soon as he could. We were happy with the kitchen and work (apart from late start and finish / lack of communication), but the kitchen has been in for less than a year and the new floor that was laid is splitting. The underlay wasn’t installed correctly so the joints on the vinyl tiles have split. We’re going to have to have it all removed and done again, properly. Very disappointing.

I've no choice now but to go through the small claims court to try and get the money back. Really disappointing. Do not use this trader. I have used Wayne in the past and he completed the job as quoted. Re-booked again this Easter to supply and fit carpet. He took the cash (over £1000) and we have been unable to contact him since. Currently going through small claims to try and get our money back.

Very quick response and started work the next day. Reliable and hard working. Seem to have done a good job on the roof which was leaking - only time will tell. Stayed late to finish off plastering inside the house, which was a great help as we didn't need to find a second tradesman to do this. Altogether I would certainly recommend Star Roofing.

At the time the work was done in August we were satisfied. Albeit the work was left unfinished as he didn't exactly complete what he agreed to, to our satisfaction. I was back at work myself as the work ran over the 5 days agreed. Looking at it right now, the standard was poor, surfaces were not smoothed off and marks left everywhere. The main damp corner has now come back damp as when the work was commissioned. Disappointing really as now looks like we have been taken for fools for 700 notes.

Terrible...... Just terrible... Late, missed appts and poor quality I had thought this contractor did a good job in the first instance, but it turns out it was very sub par. I had to recall him to do the finishing and to be honest it wasn't to my satisfaction. I'm now left with a kitchen floor that lacks the finesse of a professional. When I questioned it he became aggressive and walked out citing "I don't need this" . I WOULD NOT recommend this tradesman to anyone if you're needing a good state of finish.
