I would recommend simon to anyone, very honest and exstreamily reliabill. Done a fantastic job. Was quoted £98 by another tradesman, to replace a shower. The turf has died as they laid it on top of the existing lawn and they have ruined my drive by not resanding it properly and using brick waterproofer instead of proper block paving sealer. I have tried phoning them several times but of course they are now not answering their phone. I have had a price to put the block paved driveway right and it is less than half of what they charged me to mess it up. Avoid this company like the plague.

Poor quality work, had to get it re-done. Did not remove bamboo root as asked, hid it inside a raised bed along with lots of rubbish. Poor brickwork on raised bed - didn't even notice had changed from stretcher bond until I pointed out the mess. Patio & path had wobbly slabs (turns out they had laid it without a sub base) & when I asked them to re-do they didn't turn up to finish the job. Hassled for money as they went along, unfortunately I paid most of it. Had to use the remainder to get it done right.

Can not give a rating at this point , I am still awaiting his full quotation, he did say he was a little busy for a few weeks or on the other hand he does not want the job I submitted. Promised all work would be completed within 4-5 days. Then told me once started that they had other jobs in between. didn't turn up when promised, constantly chasing them. Foolishly gave them half the money and they never came back?? Poor quality of work, remedial works at my cost to correct their shoddy efforts.

I can see why this company have no ratings - they couldn't even be bothered to turn up for a quote! I finished work early and waited in for over three hours, at which point I called to find out what was going on. No answer, and no return call to explain what happened. Total time wasters.

One star as that was the lowest I could choose. Threatened to have us fined as they claimed we accepted a quote they did not give. Left some of our waste on our neighbours property and claimed that we shortchanged them so demanded a further £20.00 Not to be trusted I'm afraid.

Came to quote. Agreed to take on the job. Contacted me that morning to cancel as he "had to sort out a problem with existing job". After a few weeks I called to arrange a new date at 5pm and he agreed to come the following morning. Texted my address again as requested (admittedly on the morning he was due but before he had arranged to turn up. Received text telling me he thought I had changed my mind and was doing another job. This is less than 12 hours after we agreed. Getting someone else.

Spoke to him he for quote/do the job on certain days. Received a phonecall asking if he could come and do the job on the days I wasn't available. Informed me he would get in touch with me on a certain day to rearrange. Never did so. And to top it off, he then contacted Rated People to say he hadn't been given a chance to quote when he had! I can't rate him for the quality of his work but I do know one thing-there is no way I'm going to let a tradesman into my house when they lie and are dishonest. Avoid.
