Greg is a pleasant and well mannered electrician. He completed a rewire of our house to bring it up to standard. We paid in full, on basis that he would return to complete work and rectify faults. Left several messages and gave several months (almost a year) to respond by phone or email. No response so we got a reputable electrician to inspect, and he found several faults with work which is still not finished. Considerable extra cost now to correct. Happy to provide evidence to support this review.

Ryan Cohen, DO NOT USE this plumber as he is untrustworthy & uncommuniative, I paid him a substantial deposit and no work has been done to fit Central Heating. I have been unable to get my deposit back & don't get any replies to my messages. I also gave him the option of still doing the job with no response. In summary, he took the tiles out and put panels but the shower frame is is leaking in two places, the shower head is twisted and not centred, head/cover of on/off shower valve is loose, he left towel rail leaking, did not fix the leak of toilet, he broke the on/off valve when trying to put it back and the towel rail valve so we had to buy new ones. We paid him £600, £100 by bank transfer and £500 he wanted cash. And now he is not answering the phone and not replying messages. It's been months now. Terrible

We had a boiler and central heating system installed, as well as the removal of an old system plus gas heaters. Very pleased with the work and quality of parts. The price seems very reasonable to me and there were no unexpected costs. Andy sometimes takes a while to respond but he’s obviously busy and his communication is very clear and everything was explained well.

They said they had to inspect my property first! They unscrewed Electrical Sockets, and did not replace the screws. No work was done to my property. They did not come back, to complete any work. They took £180 of me for what? I have never used Rated People after that.

The job started off well, but as the day went on the quality of the work went downhill. Just about every corner of the wall which was papered has been torn and some were filled with bits of paper so that I wouldnt notice, but they kept falling out. There are gaps between some pieces and the wallpaper around the doors, looked like it had been cut with a knife and fork. If you want a cheap job done quickly you'll be fine, if you want a good job done properly to perfection dont bother.

The good points: they came when they said they would; they sorted out out minor problems quickly such as roses for the radiator pipes; workmanship satisfactory. The bad points: they damaged our granite hearth; attempted a glued repair without informing us; we noticed 3 weeks later; denied doing any damage; apparently our problem for not mentioning it earlier; I suggest that you closely watch the workmen. Would we use them again; NEVER!
