Mark fixed a storage heater for me, he wanted to be paid in cash. I asked him to bring an invoice / receipt with him. He didn't. He promised me he'd send one when he got home. I have asked him on 4 separate occasions to provide me with a receipt for the work and have been promised one on each occasion. If you do need a receipt, I would suggest not using this electrician, other than that he did do the work for the money quoted.

Jim was friendly, reliable, and great value for money. The work took a couple of days longer than expected due to the density of the mortar in our brickwork but this didn't affect the original quote and it was great to have a tradesman who got on with his work but also happy to chat and explain the whole process.

Arrived on time and did the job required. I.e. reduce a hawthorn hedge by approx . 3 feet. The pruning was achieved in record time but at the expense of clearing the site. properly. Bits of hedge were left in mine and my neighbour's garden and in the road. I had to complete the job and ended up taking 4 large bags to the recycling centre. Disappointed.

After meeting Johnny I got him to quote for a much bigger job, comprising of a huge area of paving with a big concrete base for a garden house as well as the driveway extension, laying of cabling and adding a soak away and drainage. I was apprehensive due to the size of the job & the expenditure involved but I chose J Ward over others that have done work for me before. Darrel worked with me on adjusting he quote in order to prioritise the things that needed the most attention. We were held up a few days by the weather initially, but once things were underway I was very happy with how things progressed.
