Arnes was good at communicating with me throughout the process. He provided an approximate cost by phone then visited to take measurements and firm up on the price. Although not the cheapest quote I received, Arnes price was competitive and in view of his ratings from previous customers and his accommodating personality I decided to accept his quote. Jimmy and his assistant were asked to fix and plaster a kitchen ceiling, grout some shower tiles and render a porch. They were keen, professional and polite throughout. They arrived half an hour before the job, got on with the work with the minimum of fuss and disruption and cleaned up the mess before leaving. Very bad workmanship. Huge hole just left in wall where pipe went through. Had to have someone in to replaster and make good. Boiler now condemned for a second time in two years. Flue has gaping holes around it and the gas flow sample test point was left with no cap and then the replacement doesn't fit either. AA homeserve say it's the worst installation they have ever seen.
