They then began the complicated task of plumbing in an unvented hot water cylinder into the existing circuit. When they finished they diligently cleaned up and made sure everything was polished. Left carpet and 2 sets of my ladders covered in plaster. Paid for 2 days work when it only took 1. Had to patch up parts he had missed through rushing the job. Didn't have the correct tools for plastering round the stairs. Used my ladders. Didn't even have enough covers for the carpet.

George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. Used GR building to re slate my roof. after 3 weeks 2 slates came off. Repeatedly rang and left messages and he finally came back to sort it out after not appearing the first date given. 3 more slates have just come off. Even taking into account the strong winds I find it unacceptable that this can happen. I will not be asking him it sort it this time as I have no confidence he will do the job correctly and have made alternative arrangements.

Greg is a pleasant and well mannered electrician. He completed a rewire of our house to bring it up to standard. We paid in full, on basis that he would return to complete work and rectify faults. Left several messages and gave several months (almost a year) to respond by phone or email. No response so we got a reputable electrician to inspect, and he found several faults with work which is still not finished. Considerable extra cost now to correct. I did not hire this company due to the fact I requested a payment but only received in its place a weekly payment which was not based on work completed. When ai informed them they wanted to return and chat about it. I was not prepared to do this as it did not give me any good vibes as all builders will give a quote which is then backed by a payment plan based on work completed

I sadly have to give the ratings I have. I was chasing for an appointment so Mark & his brother could give a price, which I eventually got. Then I had to chase for a start date. Mark said his daughter was in hospital, which happens. I said I would wait. I asked did he want the job. He said it would be a few weeks. I said I would wait, & wait a & wait etc. I got no response. It was clear they did not want the job. My time was wasted. Sadly I would not reccomend. A case of Cherry picking.

Job didn't last long, started leaking again when it rained heavy. wasted money. Another company looked at the chimney and flat roof and politely described the job as done by cons, using this site to get quick cash from urgent jobs, which if not done professionally costs more in the long run. The banter is part of the deception.

Do not use this trader. I have used Wayne in the past and he completed the job as quoted. Re-booked again this Easter to supply and fit carpet. He took the cash (over £1000) and we have been unable to contact him since. Currently going through small claims to try and get our money back.

This tradesman did half of the job. He said that he would come back with his ladder to complete the job and I mistakenly paid him. He never came back and has been impossible to get hold of. I would not recommend him for any job ever again.

DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER. We hired Dave for the plumbing on the renovation of our new house. This included new radiators, new boiler (fitted by another gassafe plumber not Dave as he's not registered), fit new downstairs loo, fit new bathroom, and due to complications new cylinder and pumps. We thought we had a good relationship with Dave as he turned up on time, worked hard and seemed conscientious. The problems started after the job had finished and he had been paid in full. The hot water system was still not commissioned (I shouldn't have paid him until this had been done, but I've learned now), and more worryingly the boiler had not been commissioned. There was also a leak from the downstairs wc sink. These were to be completed by Dave on the last day but he never turned up and a series of excuses ended up with Dave never coming back. Two days after moving in a wet patch appeared on the kitchen ceiling and progressively got worse. We tried to call Dave but by now he had decided not to answer our calls. He did agree to pay for another plumber to complete/fix the job. To date we've not seen a penny. We got the leak fixed which was caused by bad soldering under the shower tray. We had to contact Gas Safe to get Dave to respond to our request for getting the boiler and hot water working, and eventualy the boiler fitter came out (and even thought Dave was out of his depth on the job). He even said he was trying to contact us to arrange this but Dave told him he didnt have our number, which is a lie as he has it stored in is phone under don't answer! Now, we've noticed another leak in the lounge ceiling. I would call Dave but he wouldn't answer, and I wouldn't want him anywhere near this house again. Since moving we've noticed that the standard of workmanship is poor on the bathroom fittings, shower enclosure and bathtaps (set in wall), which are now leaking and finished messily. Again we're getting another plumber to fix this and will be sending the bill to Dave - which he's agreed to pay but I've not seen it yet. Rest assured Dave, I will be taking this to the small claims court as it costs me nothing through my home insurance. In summary, Dave seems like a lovely guy, but in reality is not up to the job and is not good to his word. Assuming his excuses are true its still no reason to treat people like this.
