As soon as my job was posted I was contacted by Eddie who came round to my address the same day. He assessed the problem and gave me a very good price for the work. He then completed the job on the next dry day. In total he turned around the work in 4 days. Superb service from start to finish. I will definately ring Eddie for future building jobs at my address. Mian complaint is not the mistake but being ignored for months after. We quickly discovered cracks in the walls and ceilings which he did not come back and rectify. He also failed to notice some rising damp which he simply painted over . This damp then became visible and discoloured the wall. This meant that we had to pay for damp proofers to come and take the plaster off the wall Shahid painted and we are waiting for a different painter and decorator to come and re-do the job we paid Shahid to do.

I absolutely love designing spaces and have the skillsets of doing all of the work myself. A lot of people entrust me to design the spaces for them and choose and source all of the materials I use. Of course people may want to do this themselves and I can happily work with provided materials if that is your wish. Each job is different and has its own challenges but with my imagination and experience I transform homes. I am also a trained decorator and provide a high standard of finish. Fantastic set of builders. They undertook extensive repairs to the roof, guttering and chimney stacks, all to an excellent standard. Internally, they removed and disposed of the plaster from two large rooms, plaster-boarded and skimmed, again to an excellent standard – the plaster is as smooth as marble! They also resolved ad hoc problems as they came to light, at no extra cost. They cleaned up after each day’s work (including the pavement outside) and removed all debris. And … they finished the job on time and on budget. Being new to the area, I had been wary of employing unknown builders. But I have been left impressed beyond all expectation!

I am so impressed with the work carried out by Multitrade. They completed all the work (stairs, two built in cupboards, architraves, skirting boards, 30msq of wood flooring) to a VERY high standard and at all times considered my budget. Suggestions were made along the way on ways that would improve the job. Multitrade are also able to recommend a quality plasterer (Craig - Plaster Right) which worked well. Between them they could agree on what work was needed when so that they could work around each other. Provide plenty of tea to wet their whistle and you can be sure you will get a quality result. The work was done well and he even picked up a few things from B&Q for me. Unfortunately when he plumbed in the sink he plumbed the the hot water to the cold tap and vice versa. Also, he left a saw mark in my Ercol kitchen table with a bit of his blood which he never told me about. But then neither did I. All things considered I would hire the man again and have no issue recommending him for other jobs.
