I built up so many houses from scratch to finish with full inside refurbishment. I have lovely friends who I work with, if job is bigger then my capacity. I do bathrooms, kitchen, flooring, windows and much more as inside refurbishment or outside decorating. This job was a complete and complicated rewire of a large old farmhouse, including various extras such as security alarm, boiler and underfloor heating controls and renovating an old Victorian lantern. Chris has done an excellent job, and even though it turned out to be more awkward than he expected (beams in unusual places, ceilings that came down, boiler wiring being non-standard etc) he honoured the original quote and took the time to make sure it was done properly. The standard of work is very good and Chris perseveres with jobs until he is satisfied with the result. An example is the great care he took with the positioning of the kitchen lights. I have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

John turned up promptly, took time and equipment to inspect indoors how damp was getting in from roof and explain possible causes, then quick to get ladder to the roof to investigate further. He explained everything, took photos up on the roof with his phone, and his advice and quote seemed reasonable and not pushy. Came back in a day, did all the work up on the roof which turned out to be a lot more than he thought (reconcrete parapet wall) but honoured price, came back again to replace tiles too. Top man.
