Excellent all round,2 external doors and one frame replaced and painted. Vasile and co worked really hard and did an excellent job fitting locks and new handles. Look lovely. Did such a good job,I asked them to replace the 2 windows on outbuildings ,wood frames rotten so replace and painted using existing glass. Very good quotes for both. Simon is very very good, he not only sorted our gutters, but realised that the company we used last had left a lot of moss and rubbish in the gutters and in the valleys on the roof. Simon replaced our broken tiles, repointed our ridge tiles, and did a treatment to stop the moss coming back. Every bit was cleaned he even did our patio. Would highly recommend. All work is under a written guarantee for seven years. Worth every penny.

We hired Ionut to lay some decking and build two planters and some bench seating as well as landscape the garden and laying a new lawn. Ionut and his team did an exceptional job - the work is very neat and professional and we ended up with a great finish. They were polite, respectful and worked very hard. I have already recommended Ionut to a friend and hired him for another job (laying slate slabs) which was also done incredibly well.

I used AGL to decorate my 5 bedroom house in W12 in April 2014. The standard of the work was excellent. They are experienced and were able to come up with practical solutions to issues that arose. They were able to carry out addition electrical and plumbing work. Their quote was competitive and transparent. They repsonded promptly to calls and emails. We have not gone ahead with his quote but Piotr was excellent at contacting me and keeping in touch with regard to the appointments made for him to come and view the work. He was very friendly and professional and listened to what we wanted/needed and came back with a quote within a couple of days. They were very dodgy and unreliable. They took all the agreed money but never came back to finish the job. I was left without a kitchen, cooking utilises and drinking water for two whole months as no other builders were willing to pick up the mess they left behind. The garden was a complete mess with concrete and heavy building rumble. I strongly advise people to be wary of hiring them.

Job was to sand the floor of our flat and we set a price. After asking for more they guaranteed to finish for the extra price. A day later they pulled out of the job leaving it un finished. They said it was due to a black tar like substance. they said they had tried everything. My painter and decorator took a torch and scrapper and had it up in minutes. They had the wrong tools and seemed like first flooring job. After contacting asking to finish he said he would get back to me but failed to be reached.

At no time were you told not to tile that area, that is absurd, why would we want an area not tiled. On the quote it was stated that you would remove old tiles and make good walls, having spoken to 4 companies since they all stated the same, this would mean plastering the same, we paid extra for this. Something to be considered when writing your quotes. The receipts for materials, second amount, never materialised. You were paid in full regardless.

George responded quickly to my request, gave a very reasonable quote, did a really quite tricky and complicated job above a conservatory, to fix cracks in the pebbledash of an external wall, and seal all around the windows. A fortnight later he re-plastered internally. George gives the impression of being somewhat chaotic! But he is extremely experienced, knows what he is doing, and actually did a very good job. Admin terrible, missed first appointment. Made excuses and eventually arrived about 3 weeks late. Covid-19 was the excuse offered for missing second appointment. I had to give source for concrete posts. They worked hard, but the standard of their work is not great when it comes to cutting panels to fit non standard gaps. They are very pleasant on site, but once I paid them in full, bad mistake, they have not replied to my email requesting that they correct problems. It will be simpler to do it myself.
