Happy with plastering and temp wall installation, but skirting board could have been better. Ceiling plaster developed cracking, which we were promised would be made good, but unfortunately due to poor communication and lack of consideration to the customer we gave up trying to get done by the tradesman and sorted ourselves. In the end a disappointing experience.

In my experience of tradesmen, Peter is a breath of fresh air. He is honest, professional, very knowledgeable and completes his work to an excellent standard. No unexpected costs just a well executed plan for the work he performed. He was specifically repairing plaster work that I had botched up by another plasterer and managed to sand and fill to a very high standard and then painted the whole room. The finish was unbelievable considering the mess the previous plasterer had left. Top job! Thank you!

Cannot recommend highly enough. The work was finished to a really high standard. They were really adaptable when the tiles we had ordered failed to arrive on time. They adjusted their plans and worked really hard to get the work done on time, without compromising on the quality of the finish. They were also really considerate of working around young children, and were very patient with little interruptions from a fascinated six year old!

We had a visit from James to quote on our plastering requirements and instantly felt relaxed with him. The walls were incredibly uneven and heavily textured artex ceiling but we were reassured that although it was a challenge James talked through with us what he would do to prepare the surfaces and make good for a good plastered finish. Gave me best value options for the job and completed to a very high standard. Also did a few other bits like replacing missing tiles and making my cracked ceiling look new again. One to be careful with is the electrician Ben. The work seems alright, but his advise left us with excessive lighting in Kitchen and sitting room and our decision against TV sockets in ALL rooms was interpreted as NO TV and phone socket at all, which then later had to be added at extra cost and left the choice of suppliers limited. His crew also did the plumbing and the bathroom installation and the later was not done to the general standard of U&U constructions work.
Am construction are a highly friendly & experienced team of builders with over 15 years experience in all aspects of construction. From little jobs to large projects. We care about our customers and our own quality of work so are always happy to “go the extra mile” and if our customers need ideas we absolutely love getting involved in the plans as well.

On initial finish of job it looked ok, so we paid happily, but once dry and ready to paint job was awful. It was uneven, with so many holes, gaps and lines. I had to pay someone else to correct the bad workmanship, every wall was uneven as well. I would not recomend and he left such a mess everywhere!
