Job was to sand the floor of our flat and we set a price. After asking for more they guaranteed to finish for the extra price. A day later they pulled out of the job leaving it un finished. They said it was due to a black tar like substance. they said they had tried everything. My painter and decorator took a torch and scrapper and had it up in minutes. They had the wrong tools and seemed like first flooring job. After contacting asking to finish he said he would get back to me but failed to be reached.

Excellent tradesman. Kyle quoted on the evening that he came round. We wanted a new quality front door. Came around when agreed. Worked very hard and to a very high standard. Even came around the following week when I had painted the door to fit the remaining ironmongery (that I couldn't do!) / make minor adjustments after the door had been hung for a week. Very pleased with the workmanship standard. Very reasonable rates and a reliable chap. Would definitely use him again.

GLS did some work on our cottage, including renovating a staircase, fitting skirting boards and door frames, hanging doors and installing a built-in wardrobe. This work was quite complicated due to the age and “character” of the cottage (no straight lines!), plus working in a busy family home. They did an absolutely fantastic job. The work was completed to a very high standard and he said he guaranteed it, and in the last 9 months, any issue that has come up he has come over within days and repaired anything immediately. The finish is excellent on the render and the quality is constant through what was a fairly large rendering job on my detached house. Although Paul initially replied to the quote promptly and did the job on the same day; we were left with a hole in the wall from the fixing of the blinds. Again, Paul was initially apologetic and offered to fix the problem; however he subsequently did not turn up to the house on the day he was going to come and has for 2 weeks not responded to polite emails, text messages or picked up telephone calls. Disappointed customer.

We employed this company in May 2016 for home refurbishment. What was estimated to take 6 weeks took 6 months. In the end the builders abandoned the project in breach of contract, work we paid for has never been completed. Mihai the director considered that by allowing us to keep thesnagging money the matter was settled. However, since we have returned to our property we have had to pay out more in remedying building, plumbing and electrical defects due to their shoddy workmanship.

I repeat -Martin Kingsley’s manner was stressful - I am not surprised he is capable of presenting a scenario bearing no resemblance to reality. His stance appeared suspect to me by his continual insistence to sight the structural engineer’s report and when he stated a wall showing damp patches and peeling paint was dry. When he left, he handed me a card asking me to get in touch.
