Lovely people and the work was very well done and very helpful advice given -we'd have them again. The tidying up inside was also very good but outside it wasn't done properly. They came back to check work done and rectified some small issues but tidying outside could still have been better.

The previous review was done under duress with Billy standing over me. The truth is, he disappears for considerable lengths of time (days), leaves equipment behind so you can't hire anyone else, switches his phone off so you can't contact him during this time and has the attitude of a bully. He removed our toilet to fix a blocked pipe but then left it so it wasn't fixed back to the floor properly and moved around, when we were in the process of selling our flat, with surveyors coming round. Not recommended.

The poor review I posted wasn't about the later repairs. It was about the inital calls and emails I made which took a week to confirm the original work date ( poor reliability) and the difference in value between actual materials used and labour (quality and value) .

Gave us a reasonable quote for a full rewire (without kitchen) so booked in. Couldn’t complete the work in given time so had to come back the following week. They turned up late, didn’t complete all the works as agreed, didn’t fix any of the issues we raised about the previous work. Continued working and said they would do the snagging on the last day so we paid. Came back later and they had removed all their tools, returned the keys with unfinished work and no certificate for the work completed. Not happy.

Sadly as much as the extension looks fine on the outside, there have been too many issues behind the scenes that we have had to get remedied, which has been a huge additional ongoing cost to us. The team are not experts and will not do a thorough job. We have recently had to deal with a big health and safety electrical issue due to their inability to do things properly. We had a small electrical job - repair of an illuminated mirror. James Hutchins was enthusiastic enough at first. He diagnosed the problem, claimed to have sourced spare parts and then requested £67 to pay for them. I gave him £80. That was six weeks ago and I haven't seen him since!!

Arranged 8am appointment weeks ago for what he said would be a quick job. I waited 4 hours and never turned up! Didn't return any of my calls - only sent one WhatsApp back to say he would be there "in an hour or so", and then didn't turn up in that time. Completely wasted a morning after rearranging a work day to accomodate and missed several important meetings. A real shame, as Matt seemed friendly enough on the phone beforehand.

Essential elements included in quote request ignored and charged as extra.Paintwork on window not completed, and now inaccessible so can't be remedied.Crack in marble window sill not fixed.Boss actually told me the marble experts did not want to let him install the piece of marble as it was (two pieces stuck together) but he thought it would do.Work started six weeks ago, still not finished and now no reply to calls or texts. I was quoted £230 for a job that the plumber hadn't even seen. 'confidently' I had chosen £250 on the budget option on the site do clearly the plumber was going for the maximum charge! I felt very angry by that and was proved correct when I had the work done by a reputable plumber for £60 all inclusive! Very poor of PB to try and pull a fast one!

They were not unqualified. They met every regulation in the book. You first said the wires needed to be in conduit, but when I had this checked, you then accepted that this was not the case. You said the 'regulation had changed' but conduit was never a legal requirement, just something done for practicality. The electricity was working fine for 3 days before you came and started working. This is nothing personal just bad trademanship, which I have a moral duty to highlight to others.
