Ben is thorough and professional in his work. When the fire alarm system that he installed was checked by the fire officer, he found it was done to a high standard. Ben has done other jobs at our nursery, PAT , door entry system and door alarm. He did all the electrical work at our home when we refitted the kitchen. Our brief was complex. ProHome spent a lot of time and effort in the consultation and planning process before we even committed to using them for the job. Once we had agreed a plan of works (which also included replacement of Soffits, Fascias and Guttering) they carried this out in a very efficient and professional manner. Pathetic behaviour of the owner, I requested services for which i was asked to pay half of the money upfront, the guys turned up did not completed the requested job by saying its too late now we have to drive two hours to go back home? Never turned up to do rest of the work! Instead damaged my property never apologised for that neither returned to even check it. Avoid and dont pay in advance

The poor review I posted wasn't about the later repairs. It was about the inital calls and emails I made which took a week to confirm the original work date ( poor reliability) and the difference in value between actual materials used and labour (quality and value) .

However, failure to respond to repeated requests for certification of the work done and subsequently being advised that my consumer unit had been left in a dangerous state means that this has to be revised. II made a significant mistake going with ION. To the extent I have had to get another security installer in to remove his poor work and reinstall a new systsem The customer service is poor, with ION not responding to any form of communication! The original scope of the work was never completed and was left in poor state I would avoid using him at all costs! Else you will end up having to pay double for someone to do the job properly!

Tried to overcharge me by £120 over the quoted price and when I refused to pay the extra he got very aggressive threatening and abusive. Didn’t find the fault & waste of money.unprofessional and unskilled. Have text from him telling me I am an f’ing idiot.

This man turned up very late on the first day - held up by buying parts he needed for a job. He then didn't finish the job and gave a confused explanation about what parts he needed to buy and why - this was a simple light fitting change. He turned up with out a step stool/ladder. He then offered to come and finish the next day, gently proposing he was going to loose money on the job. I went round to meet him at the tenanted property and took my own tools. He ran late - buying stuff for another job.

he never came to my house to check if my measurements were correct, he then called back to ask if i had any other quotes i advised i hadnt, he said because if i had, received a quote for say 400, he wouldnt bother wasting his time putting it on paper and coming round to pop it into my door, now i might not of necessarily of gone for the cheapest quote, so as he couldnt be bothered, i found a tiler who laid it for me.

I have 10 years experience in building construction,so basically i know to do everything from simple things like changing a light bulb to build a new extension and gardening work,paving,fences and maintenance of the garden,i do driveways and loft conversions to.
