George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. Do not use this trader. I have used Wayne in the past and he completed the job as quoted. Re-booked again this Easter to supply and fit carpet. He took the cash (over £1000) and we have been unable to contact him since. Currently going through small claims to try and get our money back.

Awful job. Obvious Andy didn't have the skills to do the job but attempted it anyway. Didn't take the doors off before starting to plane them! Didn't measure up! 5hrs later the house is covered in sawdust, one door has been badly planed and fits worse than before and is no longer secure to the frame. None of the rest of the jobs done.Then he ups and leaves. Not a handyman, just an idiot and a disaster, Wouldn't trust him to change a lightbulb. Will cost me £100 to fix his mess

After completing the work I requested a receipt for the cash and was told it would be in the post and he couldn't sign one now. Still no receipt or contact after almost 4 weeks. A follow up was promised with extra things they could attach to the windows to prevent whistling and to confirm work was satisfactory, they never returned. Good start disappointing finish.

I then contacted him to arrange another visit for a quote and once again he never turned up, even though I checked with him the day before to ensure that he would honour the arrangement. This man came to replace a gutter. He never gave me any receipt,he said he would drop it off later as he didn't have a receipt book. With first big rainfall the gutter started leaking. I contacted him twice,he said he would come to fix it,which never happened. Waste of time and money.

After 9 month of the pointing being undertaken, part are starting to fall out. I have tried to contact the tradesman via phone and email but get no response (call terminated/no reply to email via ratedpeople or direct). Very dissappionted with the workmanship and total lack of customer care once paid for job.
