I don't usually leave negative feedback. But in this case I have been left no option. I had the work carried out laying solid oak floors which cost me £1600. Within a very short space of time I realised the floor was lifting and gaps appearing in the floor. In the summer the floor expanded and started pushing the doors and edges. At this point I contacted the tradesman to no satasfactory outcome. I'm so annoyed I spent all this money sourced a trader through a reputable site and still the floor looks a mess

The guys got onto the job quickly and at the time specified and got on with the job.The only reason I did not give the quality a full 5 stars is because some of the lower courses of brickwork were not pointed up, but this could be a communication issue as I could not be there to tell them exactly what needed to be done. Another company looked at the chimney and flat roof and politely described the job as done by cons, using this site to get quick cash from urgent jobs, which if not done professionally costs more in the long run. The banter is part of the deception.

Very quick response and started work the next day. Reliable and hard working. Seem to have done a good job on the roof which was leaking - only time will tell. Stayed late to finish off plastering inside the house, which was a great help as we didn't need to find a second tradesman to do this. Altogether I would certainly recommend Star Roofing.

Came and visited measured up and said would get back to me with a price. Shook handsthis clearly doesn't mean anything to them. I got the price by text. I agreed and said by text I needed someone you can rely on. The reply by text was you can rely on us we agreed a date and time, I took time off work, I rang emailed and left a voice mail and text to see where they were when they didn't show.I'm still waiting, they are not even polite enough to let me know they couldn't come or didn't want the job.

these guys havn.t a clue .. overcharged.. had massive leek after they had been coming through kitchen ceiling. they came back out. and supposed to have fixed their mistake. 15 min later still leaking ... never picked up my calls .. then they turner their phone off. . job finished by another plumber I had to call. all it needed was new waste pipe. 90 pound job cost me 220. don't let these plumbers loose on your plumbing.....

No notes were taken on the initial visit and so a loose tile was left down which meant i had to rip the other tiles up before they set. The sealant around the bath and shower was a joke, they put clear sealant over grey that had been cut and so you could see the mess of grey beneath. To top it off the leak that was aparently fixed is now leaking again. Amateurs!
