Another company looked at the chimney and flat roof and politely described the job as done by cons, using this site to get quick cash from urgent jobs, which if not done professionally costs more in the long run. The banter is part of the deception.

I employed Matt to install a new bathroom. I was very disappointed in the finishing of the tiling (uneven, rough grouting, chipped tiles). The sink was installed after the tiles were fitted therefore the sink was not plumb - silicone was used to fill the large gap between sink and tiles - messy! Nice lads, but poor workmanship.

Harry and the guys came round quickly and gave us a quote, as we could not see what was going on as it was the roof he took photos and videos to show what the problem was. They came back the next day and did the job explained what they had done at each stage and again showed photos so we could see the work. Very pleased with the result…thanks guys

Owen Jones mishandled my house rewire while I was in lockdown in England and could not supervise. He left work unfinished (which I could not tell by the pics he sent so I paid for complete job), He left live wire outside where my outside light should have been installed, he left the electrical socket box on the wet floor behind my washing machine. He did not re-connect my jetted bath tub, nor did he provide me with a signed off certificate. I now have to hire another electrician. DO NOT HIRE

What a load of tosh. You cant put it right, it needs knocking down. The only people who have worked on this house are a plumber and plasterer in the hall. The plasterer will get repeat work when i need him. The plumber does all my plumbing and gas needs. Tradesmen are welcome Mark, that excludes you as your a chancer mate. Advising people to stay away, you've got a nerve !.

This job has caused me grief. New gutters 27/01/14 leaked far worse than old ones, like Niagara Falls! In fairness, tradesman returned next day, made improvements. Small problem remained, but nothing mega like first problem. Tradesman said he would return and fix. Have phoned him twice during last 2 months but as he's now working in Aberdeen I will have to pay someone else to fix. It is only small problem compared to first problem but nevertheless, the job has not been completed satisfactorily

Stay away from this company, £550.00 for two replacement planks of T&G and re-felt of roof and doors re hung. Less than 28 days later felt came off the roof, called ASAP said they would be out 20/03/23 - this day came and went out texts, calls, emails all ignored.

Said he would come back to finish off on the Thursday snd to spray a substance to orevent anythj g geowing back. (he came on the previous Monday). Initially really pleased, but he hasn't come back (it has been 3 weeks since the injtial visit) and he has not responded to any of my messages, even though they show as having been read and now the weeds have already started to grow back, so it's going to cost more money to get someone out. Sion took the job and only contacted my by email only on 8th August. He hasn't bothered to phone me at all. He has sent emails all of which I have replied to, but still nothing quoted or booked in. He has not bothered to come and look at the work, says too busy, and has wasted my time. I cannot comment on his work / value for money,as he hasn't completed anything !!
