We only had a limited budget but Chris worked with us and came up with some great ideas that we would never thought of and sourced for us a lovely new sink, taps and extractor hood. We agreed a date and time and when he was held up, he contacted me to let me know and attended as soon as he could. Job didn't last long, started leaking again when it rained heavy. wasted money. Another company looked at the chimney and flat roof and politely described the job as done by cons, using this site to get quick cash from urgent jobs, which if not done professionally costs more in the long run. The banter is part of the deception.

Do not use this trader. I have used Wayne in the past and he completed the job as quoted. Re-booked again this Easter to supply and fit carpet. He took the cash (over £1000) and we have been unable to contact him since. Currently going through small claims to try and get our money back.

I employed Matt to install a new bathroom. I was very disappointed in the finishing of the tiling (uneven, rough grouting, chipped tiles). The sink was installed after the tiles were fitted therefore the sink was not plumb - silicone was used to fill the large gap between sink and tiles - messy! Nice lads, but poor workmanship.

1.5 hrs late. I was out having waited for him as long as I could. My mother's carer let him in, he spent less than 10mins in house, then went away for about 20 mins. He came back, fitted 2 batteries in the mains alarms. He then tried to charge me £220 after repeatedly assuring me that it would cost < £100 before I hired him. He wanted 3 hours call out fee @£70/hr then £10 for the batteries. I asked why 3 hrs call out when he had spent less than 20min in the house he said 2 hours travel!
