We hired Gowan PM to decorate our first project of 7 apartments. They are so much more than your average tradesmen; multi skilled, (great tiling and bathroom installation) tidy (put our team to shame), when we changed a main colour they were fab and just took it in their stride. We forget to order materials so they collected it for us. The quality of the work is second to none and has been admired by all. I have no doubt that it will be their work will sell our project. Phil is an excellent tradesman - we had him replace some skirting boards, door frames and picture rails in 2 rooms. He was very reliable, reasonably priced and worked to our budget, his craftsmanship was very good, he was a quick (and tidy) worker, and he gave us plenty of extra advice and tips for other rooms. This was a fiddle of job retrofitting insulation between rafters in a 1930 chalet bungalow. Tricky and uncomfortable work and companies quoted high in response. Lesters quote was a good slice less than others. Lester had a great reference from a previous job and lived up to it in every way. He completed the job on time, within his estimate, and with great attention to detail. He is pleasant, communicates well, knowledgeable and great at discussing the options and little issues, and giving timely advice.

Very tidy and efficient guys. Only downsides - I selected "less than £250" cost bracket and it was assumed that I was happy to pay £250 for re-using existing parts and a couple of hours labour - rather than give me a quote. Didn't fix fault first time, but did return at no extra cost to complete.

Terry is new to Bristol and will make a very good name for himself in short order. Terry's work ethic is admirable. He promised to finish in a day and worked in to the evening to complete the job. The standard of finish is exceptional. The work involved skimming two large walls, and boarding then skimming a ceiling. He is diligent, very friendly, a consummate professional, and I doubt you'll find such quality at a better price. I commend him to you and will be asking him to do more work in the near future.

Cannot recommend Darren highly enough. The work was done to an excellent standard. His communication was faultless. He kept us updated on progress throughout including pictures as we moved out while bathroom out of action. There were several complications due to previous botched job and old house issues but Darren dealt with them with ease. He worked flat out to get the job finished in time for Christmas. Having delay with various tradespeople who stop responding Darren was a breath of fresh air.

Wayne is a very hard worker and produced great results in the flat. Due to distance and other commitments I wasn't able to be on site very much, but he is more than able to get on with the job by himself and is highly trustworthy. Igor and his team did a great job for me in renovating and updating a Grade II Listed townhouse in Clifton. The scope of works included extensive repairs, all new plumbing & electrics, a new staircase, kitchen and bathrooms, and complete re-decoration throughout.
