Not very happy. The company (Paul) didnt finish the job and I had to pay out more than I had withheld (£50) to another tradesman to complete the job. The work that was completed was satisfactory but in view of the job not being finished cannot rate them well. Also never got my keys back despite numerous pleas. Not reliable at all.
Valleys based property maintenance. Excellent service with clean and tidy ,quick working. All aspects of kitchen fitting, bathroom suites, roof repairs on new roofs, extensions, etc. And most of all my trade has a painting and decorator with wall paper hanging etc .

They turned up without any materials and we had difficulty getting any. The fence has been put up in a bad way with short posts, and screws dangerously protruding through to next door. My old patio was not taken up as quoted, and new slabs were laid over the top. It is not level and slopes forward & sideways with a bump in the middle. Slabs are uneven, the built step has all broken away, as there is little support under it. And the grouting has gaps and different grouts used. Too many other probs to list.
I am a qualified carpenter and have recently started my own business. My skills involve most aspects of Carpentry, internal and external painting and also garden maintenance.

Jon said he would be on site 0800 Tuesday and that the job would take two days. I wait in for him, he then advises at 08:47 on that he wont be there but promises to be there 0800 Wednesday. Arrives 09:45 Wednesday. I arranged access for him and was at work on Thursday and didn’t realise until he messaged me at 15:24 that he hasn’t turned into work again, can he come back on Saturday. Messages at 05:28 on Saturday saying he can’t come in but can do tomorrow (Sunday). Messed us around. Won’t use again.

According to these trades people their installation is guaranteed for two years. Since the installation of our decking things have gone wrong and I have tried on several occasions to get them back to put things right. I arranged for a rep that we purchased the composite decking from to come to the house ( he travelled from the north of England ) to explain to them where they had gone wrong. They could not even be bothered to turn up for the appointment. Texts/phone calls just being ignored. Stay clear !!

George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. We chose Timber Box Sash Windows to double glaze our sash windows after Andrew came out and surveyed, then followed up with a really decent quote. We got the work done in two phases and both times were really hassle free with the joiners turning up on time and getting on with the job. They were a real pleasure whilst they were here. We engaged Stuart and his team in 2023 to help remodel our garage into a suitable office space and gym. In all, it has cost us an additional £4.5k to rectify the issues Stuart and his team made from a poorly fitted garage door which voided the manufacturer's warranty, poorly rendered exterior, numerous snagging issues and unfinished work. I would not recommend.

Hired Ian to Build a single story extension and install new kitchen and downstairs shower room . Crew were very pleasant and very helpful in planning the the job ahead of them. This tradesman's? standard of work is appalling & I can only assume his Rated People reviews are false. We had no option but to dismiss him after he ruined our lounge. The numerous faults eg. large gaps above bay window, uneven walls, plastering abysmal. His cleaning up was non-existent & left my home in a disgraceful mess, cement and plaster covering our wooden floor & doors. We had to hack off all his work and start again! This has cost us dearly, not to mention the stress. RATED PEOPLE? I DONT THINK SO!

Use at your own risk. Did good job on garden wall even had comments from passersby say how good it was. Phil even got jobs from local builder based on what he did when they saw it. But as for the rest of the work laying the patio in the garden he quoted £1200 for I expected a first class job considering the actual concrete only cost £305. But he subcontracted it out to someone who did a worse job then I could have done myself. I have been in contact with the person who did it but hasn't sorted.

Took 4 months to repair water damage to living room ceiling. Small damp testing holes left unfilled in walls. After 6 months they are either unable or unwilling to give me the value of the insurance claim for me to get new policy quotes. Regretfully I cannot recommend using this company.
