Hi all, I am Daniel Hill and I have been a Painter and Decorator for about 8 years now. I first started at school in year 11 when I went to college one day a week to learn general maintenance skills. I then did 3 years there when I left school and did a General maintenance course and two painting and decorating courses. On my final year of college I got a job with a Painting firm where I was there for two years. During that time we painted church’s, offices, industrial units, shops and many other different projects. I have worked on a unique creation for the Louis Vuitton private museum, La Galleries in Asnieres-Sur-Seine. I created a unique piece for their prestigious display within the museum and that is where it is located to this day. I drew inspiration from the original Damiere Signature and sourced beautiful Oak and Walnut with which he was able to produce this stunning design. I have carried out projects for the Channel 4 Series, Sarah Beenie’s Restoration Nightmare where I installed, repaired, and restored various wooden floors throughout the incredible Rise Hall property in Yorkshire. I went on to work with Sarah again on another Channel 4 programme called Double Your House for Half the Money: Series 3, Episode 4. Here we installed a beautiful, reclaimed parquet floor for a lovely family in Sheffield. Iv installed floors for Grand designs TV show Please do have a look at my photos in my profile.
