Unfortunately I have to state that my experience with this company has been absolutely unacceptable. We agreed a price and a date to start works. Day one they did not turn up and did not call to provide an explanation until the day had almost finished. They then promised that they would attend on Friday morning and complete the works. Once again I received no call. I called the contractor left voicemail messages and finally left a message via WhatsApp. Contractor called me back around 15.30pm and apologise

Rob and his team did a really high quality job and we are very pleased with the end result (and I am the son of a builder, so my expectations were high to start with).. The finish is excellent on the render and the quality is constant through what was a fairly large rendering job on my detached house. At no time were you told not to tile that area, that is absurd, why would we want an area not tiled. On the quote it was stated that you would remove old tiles and make good walls, having spoken to 4 companies since they all stated the same, this would mean plastering the same, we paid extra for this. Something to be considered when writing your quotes. The receipts for materials, second amount, never materialised. You were paid in full regardless.

Alton Services built a 2-storey extension for us and we were so delighted with their work they went on to refurbish our bathroom, completely refurbish my mother's new home and build a conservatory. Their range of ability, attention to detail and work ethic has been really reliable. They turned up every day all day and nothing was too much trouble. George responded quickly to my request, gave a very reasonable quote, did a really quite tricky and complicated job above a conservatory, to fix cracks in the pebbledash of an external wall, and seal all around the windows. A fortnight later he re-plastered internally. George gives the impression of being somewhat chaotic! But he is extremely experienced, knows what he is doing, and actually did a very good job. Sadly as much as the extension looks fine on the outside, there have been too many issues behind the scenes that we have had to get remedied, which has been a huge additional ongoing cost to us. The team are not experts and will not do a thorough job. We have recently had to deal with a big health and safety electrical issue due to their inability to do things properly. We now wish we that we had engaged someone else.

Kevin sounded very good on the phone so i booked him to come over a few days later. he never showed up. i phoned him and he didn't answer, then at 5;30 (he was meant to be here at 5) called to say he wont be able to make it. we rearranged for a few days later. he never showed up or called. Obviously i can't say anything about the quality of his work, as i never had the opportunity to use his service, but if you definitely need a job done and a tradesman that will show up- i suggest you look elsewhere. .
