Do not use this company. Sol French came and quoted, took £800 up front but didn’t complete the work. The work that was done had to be entirely redone by another contractor. Constant stream of excuses and refusing to refund the money.

Perfect - is all I can say. Gave me a quote as part of an insurance claim. They are really diligent; hard working and actually did more than I expected them to do. They quoted 5 to 7 days to do the work but it suited us all for them to spend a couple of hours longer than normal to get the work done in 5 days rather than come back after the weekend. I'm thrilled. I'm hoping they'll come back again if/when I have more work for them. They'd be most welcome and I'd be assured of a great job.

Shockingly bad. Given option 0f new skirting boards/existing ones. Stuart said old ones were fine, quoted to prep the walls, clear the glue off the old skirtings and do a really neat job. It was bad, he used four tubes of filler to fill gaps, no neat corking edge but smudged over the walls, corking over the floor, some skirtings fell off, I think he tried to use corking as glue. I gave him an opportunity to rectify before posting this rating, but he just made excuses. Chris

Do not use this trader. I have used Wayne in the past and he completed the job as quoted. Re-booked again this Easter to supply and fit carpet. He took the cash (over £1000) and we have been unable to contact him since. Currently going through small claims to try and get our money back.

They had a new boiler ordered and picked up that night and came back first thing the next day to fix it. Honest, friendly and had my new boiler fitted within a few hours. At no time were you told not to tile that area, that is absurd, why would we want an area not tiled. On the quote it was stated that you would remove old tiles and make good walls, having spoken to 4 companies since they all stated the same, this would mean plastering the same, we paid extra for this. Something to be considered when writing your quotes. The receipts for materials, second amount, never materialised. You were paid in full regardless.

Half the laminate was laid, but I noticed the pattern joins didn't match up. They were unsatisfactory and I pointed them out. The tradesman was happy to lay the laminate again. This time it was done well. I'm now delighted with the overall appearance of my floor, although there are still some small areas, especially by the skirting, where the laminate hasn't been secured by the trimming. Apart from these small things, the service was friendly and the job was finished on time. I would use them again.

George responded quickly to my request, gave a very reasonable quote, did a really quite tricky and complicated job above a conservatory, to fix cracks in the pebbledash of an external wall, and seal all around the windows. A fortnight later he re-plastered internally. George gives the impression of being somewhat chaotic! But he is extremely experienced, knows what he is doing, and actually did a very good job. The timings and quote agreed to were respected, he was polite and cordial, and communicated well

To add to this if this dishonest person is blaming me for a lie ee can take mobile phone statements and check how many times he "contacted" me and how many times I tried to contact him with his obvious ignorance to my attempts trying to reach him. He viewed the job, agreed the price, took a whole day to board a small ceiling and start one of the 5 door linings. i trusted and paid the lion share of the job, wrong decision i guess, as this is what followed, he assured me he would come back the following Saturday, but then the excuses started to flow, my boss has asked me to work, its my anniversary etc... No show on the next Sat either, has blocked my number also? AVOID at all costs

Long delay to fit unit with no contact for weeks.Screw put through water pipe, causing damage to flooring and on repair of this,more damage caused to flooring.Poor quality wood used, item not stained when requested. Cannot use a nail gun sucessfully, nails sticking out on top of unit.Weeks of no answer to calls to put things right. Compensation eventually offered for damages and hassle caused, then no answer when trying to collect compensation.Very poor service.I wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy.

Very fast but shoddy paint job, messy workers . Smokers. Have had to repaint doors and call them back to touch up. ok when boss was about but not keen and happy to cut corners when he was away fro Job. nice enough boss , all polite but would not recommend workmanship .
