Lowes Construction installed a bathroom for us initially the work appeared to be good but he took 4 times the length of time quoted, he asked for his money leaving some of the jobs unfinished and then would not respond to our calls, e mails or letters asking when the work would be finished. When notified that the shower leaked, sinks were incorrectly positioned, damaged panel not replaced. he did not return to repair any of the problems raised. I would not reccomend anyone to employ this company.

Stay away from this company, £550.00 for two replacement planks of T&G and re-felt of roof and doors re hung. Less than 28 days later felt came off the roof, called ASAP said they would be out 20/03/23 - this day came and went out texts, calls, emails all ignored.

Nice friendly guy, came round to look at the job, arranged to come back to fix the wall. I rang the day before to confirm he was coming but he said he Wouldn't be able to fix the wall (ever!!) as his truck had broken down.

Gave a good impression when he came to price up the work. After the work was completed there were issues with the overall standard of the finish and also a problem with a specific aspect of the work. Tried to contact him in order for this to be corrected but he did not answer my calls or respond to messages. Had to get someone else to put it right. I would not recommend this tradesman.

DPG are a two man operation who seemed friendly and personable. They took £50 cash in advance for cutting the lawn and weeding as I had to work. They cut the lawn but did not weed or finish edging. I text for them to finish the job and they said they would come. However, they didn't turn up as agreed. They have avoided my calls for over a week now and failed to reply to all further calls/voicemail/texts. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them.

AJ Home improvements we are a landscaping/ house repair business. All are work carried out is of a high quality Any work carried out by us will not be finished untill the customer is happy and satisfied with the work. Haven't stuck to their word, took payment, haven't finished the job, didn't turn up at the times they, didn't bring correct equipment, left the difficult to reach part of the wallpaper, why take on a job you can't do. The woman who came to the house on the last day wasn't the one I dealt with via rated and she told my mum to 'piss off'. Tried ringing Shantelle Maughan, wouldn't answer, seems to have blocked me on WhatsApp. Happy to update this review if they come back and finish job.

Unreliable. He came to give quote and we agreed a date to start work. He didn't turn up, no communication from him. Kept saying he would turn up on various days then didn't. No communication. I booked holidays from work, so lost them. Eventually text me to say he will start the following week. No communication since them even though I have tried several times.

Original estimate was 15 days work (continuous from start date) - started in April, did not finish until End of September! Finishing quality extremely poor Regularly failed to turn up when expected, did not undertake all work quoted or promised - rarely if ever cleared up after themselves. Overall hugely disappointed
